Really well done! Though, ability 6 makes a lot of levels super easy. Also, when I first played I didn't realize you have infinite jumps.
Jumps aren't infinite, or shouldn't be! But you do have a double jump, which in small areas can seem infinite. Thanks for playing!
It could have been just a double jump considering how tight a lot of the levels are, but regardless, really fun game!
The difficult platforming makes me think of old rage games - cool idea with some nice effects - some polish would make this quite fun :)
Thank you and thanks for playing!
Pretty cool game! The level design could be improved, the spikes placement looks random, but it was fun to play, well done!
I was on a time crunch, the level design was completely random, you got me there... Thanks for playing!
The levels were a bit precise and the timer/UI font was meh but all in all an okay jam game. My only major critique would be to tweak the jumps to make them slightly less fast because they felt a bit too difficult. Also a bit of text to explain the abilities and show the ones currently in action would be nice.
Thanks for playing, and thanks for the feedback!
Charming artstyle! The jump felt kind of fast and made it hard to do precise jumps.
The controls were quite mediocre, but thanks for playing!
Great idea! Nice use of the theme. The controls felt a little stiff and I wish the random power activated immediately on the dice roll rather than trying to time the cooldown. Nice animation of the dice rolling.
Thanks! The whole game needs a lot of work, especially the controls.. :\ Thanks for playing!
I like the idea, and I love the cute little art style, could have done with some music / sound effects.
It's kinda annoying how certain abilities are sometimes required to pass certain points as I'm just sat there waiting to get the right one, end up dying then waiting again.
Yes the abilities ended up making the game slow and about patience, this was my plan, but it was executed very poorly... Thanks for playing!
I see in a comment you said it's supposed to be a rage game, well I'm terrible at platformers and I only beat the first level, the second one I couldn't get past the last spike. It was quite comedic having my inputs swapped midway and dying because of it.
Could do with some sounds effects or something along those lines.
Good job.
Thanks! I'm glad I could give you a bit of entertainment! And unfortunately I did not have time for sound effects... :\ Thanks for playing!
You need abilities to get through some parts, and other abilities make it rather difficult.. It's a game of immense patence.
This was my plan, but the game just isn't very fun unfortunately.. Thanks for playing!
Has potential for Google Play. Wait, or pay 1.99$ to reroll. No challenge, no test of skill, 5/6 rolls just make it impossible to progress
The rolls do make it very difficult, but that was the point! It's supposed to be a rage game, just executed very poorly... Thanks for playing!
It was quite frustrating to play through since most of the abilities tend to hurt or hinder rather than help. However, it's super satisfying to get a 6 and breeze through it XD The collision on the spikes is a bit wonky and sometimes I can just land touching it but still not get injured. The idea is nice but I feel like the level design isn't built around it (i.e. the abilities are not really needed to progress through some levels). Maybe you can have the abilities open up certain paths and close others, like in a Metroidvania. Otherwise most of the time I feel like I'm just sitting around waiting for the effect to end.
The abilities, or rather debuffs, were meant to hinder you! The game is pretty terrible, but my only goal was to finish... Thanks for playing!
