Fun game, really smooth, and cool gameplay. Grat work!
Fun game! I really liked the lighting, game juice, and sound design. I wish the mechanic was slightly more die-related somehow besides charging up a shot. Really fun nonetheless. Nice work!
The game is great! The levels are good, and the charging up your shot mechanic was great. It was satisfying to shoot an 6. The game could be a bit faster, both for the enemy and player movement. Continue working on jams like this! ^^
Shooting felt smooth and polished, nice job!
This was presented really nicely. I like the mechanic of charging up your shot to kill enemies faster and to get through each level.
There were a few points where I think the collision messed up and I started teleporting alongside the wall, but I wasn't ever softlocked. I imagine it has something to do with using a loop for pixel-perfect collision and a rotating character.
Thxs! And yeah the collision was implemented based off a tutorial because I'm very new to making games like these, so I wasn't sure on how to fix that teleportation bug. Saw someone use it for a speedrun though so at least theres that lol
Nice game
Really wish the game was longer, but 48 hours is hard. Movement felt good for the most part and I liked the lock on with the shooting.
Sadly was really short, overall amazing concept though! could do with maybe movement speed up and the doors you need to shoot being more discernible from the ones you dont but other than that its great!
Admittedly the door charging concept came a bit later on so I didn't really have time to make new sprites, and I think I decreased the speed at the last minute xD
Glad you enjoyed playing it though ^-^
Really great game! Short and Sweet, pretty good levels and the mechanic of charging up your shot was pretty satisfying to use (especially when shooting a 6), overall really good experience, even though I think the game could be a little faster (like, increase player and enemy move speed). Just a heads up: There were sometimes where my character randomly teleported forward, especially when aiming at an enemy
Yeah I'm not entirely sure how to fix that teleportation bug at the moment, and I decreased the player movement a lil at the last minute lol
Glad you liked playing it!
I love the Lighting and Particle effects! fun game!
