Nice game! It was very fun
Hey,
The idea of having multiple weapon with multiple effect works nicely and is in the theme.
I don't have more to say that the others' comments didn't already say (and there's a lot of great idea!), although, I played it on stream if you're interested : https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1537297068?t=1h39m5s
My only true concern was the cursor, I had a hard time seeing it :(. But the game was fun to test nonetheless!
Nice variety of different weapons and effects, I liked the graphics too.
The sounds are a bit weak and don't feel very impacftul.
Sorry I couldn't play this very much since it was messing with my motion sensitivity
Its fine. Did teach me to make sure I have a toggle on them.
The idea is neat but your game lacks a bit of polish like game shake and particles (just for enemies, I know when you get hit the player has a particle effect). And also the crosshair is way too small .
Tried using screen shake but for some reason it was shaking random objects instead of the camera? Didn't think about adding enemy particles though.
If you use Cinemachine check every object in your scene, the player and the enemy prefabs and make sure they all have the Z Position in the Transform Component set 0. Hope that helps.
I'll try that out for my next project. Thanks!
Amazing game. Liked the graphics and visual effects. Please check out my game.
Pretty cool lil game!
Love the concept!, very epic art, pls make da cursor bigger lol
Very fun. Like my other fellows commented, it would be perfect if the cursor was bigger. Nice work!
Nice work!
Idk about others but it s a little hard for me xD. also can you check my game too?
Likes the idea, but cross hairs as a single pixel killed it for me. =/
Cool and very trippy~~~~. The crosshair needs more contrast and BIGGER!!!!!!!
Yeah definitely should've made the crosshair bigger. Didn't think about the contrast but thats a good point too.
Very fun game! The menu doesn't show the buttons if you don't go into full screen mode and I had some instances of enemies spawning on top of me, I am guessing they spawn in the 4 corners of the map, if that's the case there should be some kind of sprite there to show the spawn locations.
Yeah I didn't have much time to playtest and I playtested in fullscreen. Also yes you're correct about enemy spawning. I should've just made the spawners disable if you're too close.
Fun!
The post processing is nice, and adds a lot to the pixel art
I think the cursor might be too small, and easy to lose track of
Also some of the weapon combinations didnt feel powerful enough for the amounts of enemies, but I'm just unlucky haha
good game
Quick and fun! I like how you used the theme and the little dice icons that show up.
You did a good job with the art, the enemies look really cool.
Only problem is I'm on a laptop without a mouse so it's a bit hard to aim and move at the same time. But that's not really anything to do with the game.
Overall great job!
Nice work! I liked the weapon variety, and I especially liked the weapon that used gravity. The enemy variety was just right, I think.
really fun game, i really liked the shotgun
Thought the concept was very cool and the diversity of guns and bullets was great. I do wish the mouse curser was larger because it was hard to see it at times and the tileset messed with my eyes a little since it felt a tad blurry, the art was very nice, just think it had a tad too much on the effects. The enemy that moves in quick bursts was the most annoying lol since I could rarely be outrun. A pretty fun arcade-style game though, good job on the Game Jam!
Yeah the cursor is the last thing I did pre-building the game and I can definitely agree its too small.
Thanks for the feedback!
