How does your game fit the theme?
Weather is controlled by a virtual 6 sided Dice system. Each roll will set off other Dice systems to determine what will happen in each Weather Cycle. The Player will be informed of the Suns "Mood" and the Die number for each roll.

Really love the art here, especially the way the grass turns into flowers when you water it. I wish the die would roll more frequently, I felt like I spent a lot of time waiting around for the sun to get angry at me.  The destructible terrain was a nice touch, really incentivizes neutralizing bombs regardless of where they land. Well done :)

Neat concept. I love the art style with the hand-drawn look of the sprites even though it's a 3d game. The sound is minimal, but is really nice. The gameplay is chill, but without a score counter there doesn't feel like much point to playing after the first 5 mins. Beyond that, it can be kind of annoying getting stuck with no water during a bombing, but I absolutely love how you can snipe bombs, fire and flowers with water from across the map. The map being destroyed by bombs is also really cool and adds an interesting dynamic of having to navigate around holes to collect more water. All-in-all a really nice experience with a lot of potential!

I adore the art style and really like the concept! I could easily see it becoming hectic and chaotic over time. My main critique would have to be the gameplay feels slow, it takes a while for the sun to change behavior (at the beginning at least). The motion blur also made the menu difficult to read while moving. I do think this is a very good foundation though

Beautiful game, Huge download file though! I presume this was  due to using a custom built engine? The game was a pretty interesting concept, I could see it ramping up as more weather effects/hazards combine. Nice work.

Nope its due to me burning out and not packaging it right like an idiot. I am messing with it now and its significantly smaller and runs much better as well. Thank you for playing!

I love the aesthetic and the overall chill vibes of this game. Sippin' some water and growing some flowers. I couldn't tell at first wether watering the flowers did anything, but the petals and the faces were clever. Perhaps it would help if they started out slightly dehydrated so the first time you sprayed them they started smiling. Weather as the Sun's mood swings is a good fit for the theme, I think.

I posted my thoughts on your game on discord so you already know. Good job.

Here are my thoughts:

- game size is WAY TOO big. You should try compressing the project as much as you could.
- Very cool aesthetic but because of (probably unreal engine motion blur) some parts are often laggy and blurry which does not affect gameplay well.
- The game quickly get boring and does not have too much enjoyement.

Developer

I updated it based on feedback!
- Its more than quadruple less the size now
- fixed the blur issue
- The weather dice were not working properly, now a variety of stuff falls and I added some new twists to the gameplay. I might add a feature where you get NPC that drop down randomly and give you some basic quests (just an idea for now)

Thank you so much for everything. I really appreciate it!

Cool visual style! Though I think the motion blur is a bit much. I liked the cup indicator, that's a nice way to show resources. However, I couldn't really tell how to tell if the flowers were okay, and the overall communication of mechanics was confusing. Didn't know what to do or where to go.

Overall pretty good, though!

The blur is a glitch with the translucence materials I couldn't get right before the end. Def having a solid tutorial is my biggest disappointment in this project. I banged everything out right before the end but implementing the features to guide the player was added at the very end. Also flowers seem to have a glitch where they wont display health properly.

Love the art style! And I also like the cup mechanic, very original.
