Holy damn the art is amazing... The idea is also unique and the gameplay was generally fun. good job.
That was awesome! love the art, the idea, controls... That was very close to perfect for me :)
Wonderful submission!!!
The art and sound is impecable! Really a team of professionals! Congrats!
Once again you never fail to impress, Amazing game!
Great job! Definitely meets the high level of polish and impressiveness you'd expect for a Team Bugulon game. Sometimes, it does kind of feel like the random nature of the tiles can make the difficulty swing around a lot, even with being able to see the next tile transformation. Also, being able to drop through the regular platforms would be nice to have for some of the level layouts.
Cute game and well polished ! And so many content for a game made in 2 days
Love everything about this game! Its so impressive that this can be done in 2 days:)
Great Job!
This art is really cute!!
good game. it was unfortunately buggy for me.
How so? I've yet to see any significant bugs in the game or reported by other players. Maybe it's your browser?
when completing levels the game freezes and the webpage stops responding. it happened multiple times. reloading the page worked but it made the game not worth having to reload the page over and over.
That sounds like an issue with your internet connection or browser. When the game switches stages it has to grab the file for the next level from the itch servers, so maybe your connection is being cut or some security setting is kicking in and preventing communication with the server? If you try with a different browser or try using the windows build it should work fine. Sorry about that, it's the first time I've heard of someone having that issue with this implementation of stage loading.
What a beautiful game! I enjoyed planning on which tiles to flip so that I can still finish the level. Good job guys!
I had way too much struggle beating the last level. 90% of this game consists of praying to get solid ground if it's avaliable. "Way Cool" was the worst because none of the usable grounds are even good. But no one will even care because it's Team Bugulon and they ALWAYS win.
the reason you struggled with the last level is most likely because you tried to bruteforce it rather than think of a solution involving the order of platforms you were given.
I had to. It's not like it's on a specified order anyways.
I don't know what to say. This feels like a complete, well-polished game. It is fun, beautiful, interesting, and plays extremely well. Well done!
I'll never get it there. It's Team Bugulon anyways.
Love it, looks really greate.
This really feel complete, and it dosent feel like you had a time limit making it. Your team spend there time wisely.
You definitely made good use of the size of your team while making this game! As far as game jam submissions go, Pip Flip Paradise feels very polished and "complete" with its full three-world progression and its plethora of obstacles. It makes for a compelling puzzle game, I think -- that your tiles are randomized every time you restart a level makes it more difficult to brute force levels through sheer force of muscle memory, so you have to actually think about what you're doing as you play. It can be annoying when you keep rolling tile types that are clearly unhelpful for what you're trying to do, but managing to convert your bad luck into a successful completion with skillful platforming can nonetheless feel pretty gratifying. I imagine it adds some replay value, too, since I don't think any level becomes outright impossible when given bad tiles. This all does mean that the game can command a lot of your time; it can be a bit jarring if you're in gamejam mode expecting to play a lot of shorter games from solo developers or smaller teams during a lunch break, but a fully realized game in really any practical context has never been a bad thing. Making a game like this in 48 hours is really an accomplishment in a league of its own. Nice work!
Perfect score from me, of course ! Juicy as hell, well implemented, fun...that's perfect
Amazing work! The pixel art, animation and SFX are very nice and cute. The mechanic has full of probabilities and the game present them perfectly.
