How does your game fit the theme?
To keep playing you need to win bullets at the slot machine. But the slot requires one bullet to play! - Luck plays an important role in your success or defeat! Also... dice roll when killed!

A nice little shoot em up.
I just kind of felt like I didn't really know what was going on with bullet sizes constantly changing and not super following the slot machine effects. I guess it felt disjointed. Maybe if I spent more time with it it'd become more clear.
The art and theming was nice, no bugs and decent controls, good work
We should've been clearer with the explanation of the game! We will try and add a tutorial next time!
Thanks! :D
I had fun playing, At first I didn't know how to spin the slot machine, might help for me to read the page haha. The hardest enemies are the ones that came from the bottom. Enemies from the side you had more time to think about it, but then again the game is called casino panic so you gotta think quick. I liked the different abilities of the slot machine, especially when I got these bigger bullets that was really cool.
Glad to know you've enjoyed it! :
Cool game, beautiful art ! Smart idea to force the player to use bullets as resources !
Thank you! :D
Really cool concept! The art is amazing, good job! Really enjoyed playing!
Wow thank you!!
Fantastic art. I wish I could restart without having to skip the rules every time. Very clever use of theme. I love using the slot machines to gain ammo. Great job.
Noted! Will surely add this requested feature! Thanks!!
It's all pretty well resolved! Some power-ups were hard to understand at first without a tutorial, but you learn them quickly. It's quite fun and has a good finish! Maybe the HUD and menus could be improved, but overall it's a great submission! Good job ;D
Btw, I got 17623 score 😎
Thank you! We'll try to make the HUD better then! :D
The game is very pretty and has a really nice atmosphere! It feels a bit bad when you run out of chips, but still a very nice entry :)!
Thanks!!
I really like the bank shot mechanic a lot and there's a nice variety in the kind of effects you get from the slot machine.
Using your ammo for the slot is a really good idea in that it sets up a cool risk/reward factor where you trade off some defensive ability for a chance of a power up. On the other hand, since it's the only way to get ammo, you're kind of forced to 'farm' chips to not run out, which isn't really ideal for an action game.
One thing i will say is that having a risk of simply running out of ammo and losing made me really invested in the outcome of the slot, which is something i think a lot of the other jam games which try to minimize the randomness are missing.
One thing i'd reccomend looking into for pixel art games is having a consistent resolution. There's a lot of different sizes, and it looks kind of odd when, for example, the pixels on the slot machine are twice as big as on the player character. I also think some of the sprites are getting slightly warped due to the screen resolution not lining up with the sprite resolution properly.
Other than that, i think the sprites are all farily nice, and the use of lighting really helps make things pop and look polished.
Overall, a nice experience with some good ideas.
Thank you for the detailed feedback!
I totally agree on the sprite size. My girlfriend and I aren't that experienced yet, but we will try to do better next time!
Thanks again!!!
Goodjob! This game feels very polished with the camera movement and main menu animations, Nicely done I also love the sound the chips make :)
The enemy dice designs are also really cool and I would love to see a sequel or continuation of this game :)
Wonderful!! I will upload a new fixed version after the jam finishes! Keep an eye out for that then
Will do!
Solid submission! The intro to the main menu and the game scene itself gave it a polished feel. I like how the chip size indicates how much damage it was going to do, because it both gave the player a good visual indication, and also helps further encourage the more complex way to attack, (to bounce ). I would've preferred some more juice to the action though. And I don't know if I missed anything, but I didn't really like how I was just defenseless after losing all chips. (Maybe add a way to pick up random spawning chips?)
Sincere thanks from the bottom of my heart! I'm really glad you appreciated all those little things!
I will SURELY add more juice to the game and fix the "defenseless" feel after the jam ends.
Thank you so much again!
The games pretty nice! On my first play through my instinct was to keep spamming chips since I didn't realize I had a finite amount so ran out pretty quickly and had no way to get more. Definitely an alt way to get some would be great either from then dropping in the world randomly, being able to break things for them, or enemies dropping them. The risk reward between firing up the slot machine or using them as bullets was great though
Thank you! I will definitely add some more ways to win chips!
Beautiful style! I think additional levels (or a clearer goal) would enhance this game. There does not really seem to be much progression. A quick rundown of the powerups during your tutorial would help the player better decide if it is worth wasting a bullet on the slots. Overall good start!
I totally agree on the powerups explanation! We forgot to add it and tried to compensate the error explaining them in the game page description :/
Thanks for the tips!
woah the game is so fun! definitely like your art style. the characters are so cute. i love the small detail at the background haha
+ art and sounds greatly implemented to create a fun vibe
+ controls are smooth i can easily move around
+ bullet bounce back when hitting the wall so that i wont waste too much bullets if i get lucky
- the boundary should be close to the edge of the screen, as the bullets bounce back
- i can do nothing when i have no chips. so may be some chips/loots i can pick up would be better
so that all i got in mind so far. overall, it's a great game!
Thank you for the detailed analysis! I will definitely try and fix those problems!!
Damn dice mafia got my slot machine after all! Nice game with clear gameplay and nice design! Well done!)
Hahahahaha, nice to know you had fun!
I love the casino vibe and the shooting feels great:) The little slot machine character is cute as hell!
Happy you've enjoyed playing it! :D
I loved the art and all the little characters and details! Super whimsical and cute! I did feel like I was playing a slot machine, spending my last chip on the slots and hoping for some bullets, haha. Good job!
I hope I haven't started a gambling addiction! :D
the creativity on the highest possible level) unlike many other games I spent a lot of time by playing again and again!
Nice game!
Glad to know I've kept you engaged that much!
Fun addicting and polished
the slot bar needed more explanation and the flow of the game was interrupted too much when dying maybe let the player play again without any cinematic and going back to the menu.
Thank you for the nice idea about the replayability! Will definitely add that in the next build I'm already working on... Thanks!!!
I see you've put a ton of work in this opening screen! :D
That's a very fun game! To be honest, after playing all theses games where I was a dice, I've got quite happy being something else haha. I liked the gameplay a lot, the idea of balancing between gambling and shooting is very interesting and exciting. I just don't know if I'm extremely unlucky or the slotting machine should give bullets a little more frequently.
Overall, that's a pretty cool game! Nice job!
Such a heartwarming review! Thank you from the bottom of my heart :'D
About the slot: the winning chance of the 3/5/10/Full chip win, adds up to a total of 25% :)
Cool game! The art is very nice. There is a lot of little details that make this game very enjoyable, such as the rotating tables, and the dice's little moustache! Great choice in song too. Overall great game with a lot of character!
Thank you a ton for the detailed feedback. It's nice to know you've enjoyed that much!!!
