Such nice art, sound design and idea ! it's really fun and polished, you did an amazing job on this one!

Very nice concept and creative idea! Well thought out game.

Strangely I get an "abort() at error" if I click a few times on the same bullet. Not sure if my pc is to blame.

I liked the concept of changing probability via bullets, got some nice atmosphere too.

Maybe it focuses on more luck rather than strategy, if one roll goes wrong on certain situation it's dead end.

Also this is kinda nitpicky, but I wish I could click on cylinders to load bullets other than drag-and-drop, it would make the game more convenient to play.

Nice game :)

My man lived by the rule "Any fight you can walk away from." He got into a shitton of fights, lost most, went drinking almost every day of his career, and stitched himself up in shady back alleys to catchy music. He lasted 40 days, a little over a tenth of a year, which judging from the other comments is almost a lifetime in this hellhole of a town.

Seriously. Great game, nailed both the atmosphere and the emotion of being the miserable little sheriff in a dead-end horrid little town you'll one day leave in a nice box shaped just for you, assuming you don't get hit by a train, eaten by a bear, or buried in a shallow hole that an anemic, underfed, and grateful vulture will pull bits of you out of later and get drunk off.

(Translation: great game, mostly luck based but survivable with careful resource management. let me know if you ever publish another version :p )

Great game! Great analogy for the dice with the gun barrel! Had a lot of fun even if I didn't manage to survive for long. :D Do you have some plans to extend the game?

I’m glad you liked it :) I might flesh it out more but not anytime soon, could do with a break after this jam haha.

Absolutely brilliant management game

I like how there can be a guaranteed outcome though it requires using a lot of bullets. Its Impressive how interesting this game is for a 48 hour game jam.

It's really clever, rolling the dice with bullets, it's satisfying! Funny it's kinda similar to https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-jam-2022/rate/1622359 , but you both have really distinct games, and I love both. Well done !

This is the most addictive game I've played on the jam. AND GOD DAMN IT 3 BULLETS IN EACH AND I GOT NOTHING!!! WHY???? Day 8 is my awful high score!! Bahhhh!!! Love it 10/10

Cool rpg

Lasted for 18 days on my second attempt. Loved the Western Aesthetic and six-shooter.

Gameplay wise: that extra bullet generator is mandatory and I found the game encourages you to not save money between rounds as the money rewards aren't worth the cost of bullets. Probably too much randomness for me to play over and over.

The gameplay is really unique and The art and music fit well with the game

The mechanics feel very polished and the idea is great! The art and music sets this really strong cowboy western atmosphere and it works great for the game.

The game sounds and looks great. The concept is also clever.
Unfortunately I can't seem to be able to load bullets to chambers and I'm getting below error in F12 console :(
2DevTools failed to load source map: Could not load content for chrome-extension://gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom/browser-polyfill.js.map: System error: net::ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND

Hey, sorry it’s not working for you. Not sure what’s causing it but I have seen that double clicking on a bullet will crash it. Thanks for letting me know.

Great idea substituting the dice with six-shooters. That is a flavour I have not though about. Also, amazing presentation considering the time limit. Well done!

Also, I lasted for six days.

Really quite addicting and very well polished. Maybe could use slightly more player-favorable rewards.

Submitted

There is no strategy to the game and it's purely about randomness, which is quite frustrating because the gameplay looks really promising.

But apart from that it's really good for a jam game! Nice art & audio and the shop is a welcome mechanic!

Such a charming game. Everything is done right, from the arts to the musics to the gameplay. The only thing I can slightly complain about is that I can't take out bullets, but even that can stop this game from being a blast. Awesome work!

Wow, this is a gem, probably the best game I've played during the jam so far. I really like how rich the mechanics are, I love the ambiance and the art, and the game plays really smoothly. Instructions are clear, everything is telegraphed really clearly.  The only thing I wish I could do was take bullets out of guns since I found myself immediately regretting some decisions haha. Although this limitation did make me slow down and take more time. Overall this is a great game and an excellent submission!

Really smart concept, great art, needs a bit of balancing between risk and reward but I really enjoyed myself!
