This is pretty fun! I wish I got more feedback for what I was doing though.
The roll-to-kill enemies mechanic is cool. After I read the description the game made way more sense haha. Enemies have a lot of hp and are sometimes hard/impossible to dodge
I enjoyed the game speed and the attack animations for a moment. I didn't understand the rules by reading it on the game page, sometimes it's better to just do a tutorial or let the players figure it out on their own. I also died right away and had to go to the game page to find out the controls.
As other said, interesting idea and game! I like the roll to weapon. Just the controls are weird. Would be great to introduce the mechanics inside the game.
The game itself is simple yet interesting, but the controls are very difficult. Sometimes I didn't know what I'm doing because I thought I'm attacking but the enemies weren't responding. I don't think the game glitched or anything, I just think the attack's unintuitive. It'd need some polish, but for a jam entry it's still cool. -@h
Great concept, could definitely use some polish but a good idea all around. I feel giving the player a bit more momentum in their movement would give the game a better flow, especially with rolling :D
The game is fun and the concept of the you rolling makes you get another weapon is really creative and distinguishes your game from others in the genre. The enemies take too many hits to kill and it almost seems like i am constantly holding j to keep the enemy from reaching me and not really causing any damage to them. The levels could be better designed to should make players want to move around to dodge the enemy blocks.
