FYI: Your twitter handle doesn't exist. If that's by accident, please let me know: I maintain a list of twitter users that contributed to a Godot game in this year's jam and would love to add you!

Developer

Oh, yeah sorry I don't use twitter any more.

I see. Thanks for filling me in - appreciate it! :) You may want to remove the handle from your itch profile then though.

Quite a trite mechanic, and I personally find it too hard to figure out the solution, and end up trying to brute force it. Alos, a change I would have made is to show the side-facing die faces all the time, not only when you hover over it.

But I will say the graphics were charming.

Very relaxing yet challenging puzzles! I liked the overall aesthetic and theme. We have some similarities in our game, but adding two dice into the puzzles was a really nice mechanic! Well done!

I love the music and sound effects, they give vibrance and charm to the game. The art is also executed nicely. I fumbled the dice around quite often instead of thinking about solutions to a puzzle. I wish there were an indicator that showed available dice sides, it would help a ton. Also, a redo feature would be a game changer. Other than that, well done!

Game has a lot of character thanks to the art and music!

My main problem is that the idea isn't  really original and executed pretty stiffly, it is really hard to understand the cube orientation and because of that the main difficulty of this game is making the player and cube what you want it to do and not the levels themselves, which can feel very annoying to play.

Difficulty should come from interesting ideas to understand in a puzzle game and not from difficult controls.

Nice puzzle game idea. One issue is that I only heard the music from the left channel of my headphones.

Yeah, I made a really stupid (but easily fixable) mistake when making the audio manager :/

I'm not smart enough for this game :p

But otherwise, I like this more than the other dice puzzle's that I've played so far because it actually does feel like a puzzle, with the levels designed around a potential solution.

Curious to see if there were any other mechanics later on, but I'm afraid I was stumped at just level 2

Developer

Sadly we only had about a day to work on the game, so that's why there are only six levels and no extra mechanics.
