Cool art !

Might just be me but I couldn't kill any of the enemies, they also seem to not move unless I'm moving? Other than some missing mechanics, the visuals look really good and it's a shame that there isn't more to play.

The art is a great start!

Submitted

The art really does look fantastic. Shame about the game. Hopefully you still learnt a lot and future Jams go better for you so we can see more games that look like this.

Submitted

Aw man it's a shame that you ran out of time, it looks great. I'll be keeping an eye out for it when a fix comes through!

Submitted

The presentation is really amazing, although some of the mechanics don't seem to work... :(

Nice art!

I love visuals.Good job!

by the way could you play and rate my game?

Absolutely outstanding art style, unluckily in current form admiring it, is all we can do.

Developer

Yeah, sadly we started to put all systems together too late and many of them broke in time for jam deadline. We're working on fixes this week though, so that it at least works as a proper top-down slasher. Hope to update the build as soon as vote counting starts and restriction on changes is lifted!

Submitted

the art is great! i just wish there was some real gameplay! i would love to see you expand on this game and give it some real combat because it just looks too cool!

Developer

Yeah, our code right now doesn't do the art justice. We're working on fixes right now, so that in a week or two we have a proper MVP where you can actually kill enemies, earn score and roll mechanic works properly.

Submitted

Those drawings are so clean! if only you could do damage!

Developer

Yeah =( We hope to release a fix in a week or two, so you can actually play.

Submitted

Nice artwork, but I couldn't kill any enemy or they me.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, sadly we ran out of time and many systems that worked individually got broken in final build =( So there's no way we're earning any place in jam, but we still want to make fixes and turn it into a playable game.

The combat doesnt work but these graphics. Holy cow these graphics are so good.

Submitted

Nice graphics. The screenshots and concept art look fantastic.

Unfortunately the game is really only a top down shooter survivor where the main character happens to be a dice. To make matters worse, the combat doesn't work.

Developer

We screwed big time in code department, but the idea was - as you dodge-roll, the number on top of your head changes (since you are a dice after all). Depending on this number you can parry enemy bullets or deal critical damage to enemies. Not really a hard mechanic, but I guess it was too much for us with jam deadline. Still we're aiming to roll an update in the following week or two.

If you managed to actually add a proper combat system to kill the enemies and have some kill count it would've been actually plenty of fun. Nice graphics but enemy sprites are way too big. They just don't fit well that big. music is really nice, and thumbs up for the animations working properly.

Developer

Yeah, I think you're right about enemy sprites. We might as well scale down the playing field a bit, but that requires more internal playtests and before that gotta finish the basic mechanics. So, there's plenty for us to work on in the following weeks!
