I think I need to spend more time playing, but looks like you can crossbreed plants to get seeds too. Does it use dominant vs recessive alleles too?
Yes it does! It also has a chance of introducing mutations when crossbreeding.

when i buy something . it does not add it to my inventory.
Yes, it is a known problem, happened while exporting... We can't update the game before the rating period is over.

It's very sad that the inventory system broke, the idea seems very good and the credits screen is nice, seems that there was a lot of effort on the project. Gonna wait to play the patched version later!

not sure how to play this, i bought some seeds and a hoe and i cant do anything with them. also not sure how this relates to the theme.
Apparently the inventory system broke when exporting the current version. We got it working, but by then it was already just past the deadline.
The main gameplay loop revolves around playing with plant genetics, but right now there is no way to get to it, unfortunately :(.
