Cool art style! Great connection to the theme. I like the very "board game" like game rules. Congrats on making such a nice game on your first game jam! :-) Like others noted below, it was always tricky to figure out which character was me on the first board without getting killed on my first move.

I love the art style.

Congratulations on the completion of your first game jam and on such a good game.

I love the artwork and the concept. The controls sometimes fired multiple times per key press which resulted in many unwanted dash attacks. I think this could be solved by using Input.is_action_just_pressed().

the art work was perfect

The art looks really great. The game was difficult to understand at first, but after reading the readme I understood it. The game concept overall is original and fun. I feel like I have to think through every move I make. Great job!

It was fun to play and try and amass an army to defeat the dragon.

Although I was not entirely sure what do to in the beginning. Only after trial an error.

As others have mentioned, it would be better to have your character be different from your comrades. I kept mistaking one of my comrades as me.

I enjoyed playing it.

I agree with the comments below. If only the combats were not that frustrating.

Epilogue: wait, did I just accidentally eat my comrades?

Your game is really cool, the only downside are the controls. When the game starts you don't really know who the player is, maybe it could be more precise. It would also be cool to give the player more feedback about which action he is doing. Good work =)

Feedback on the feedback noted! Thanks for the critique ^^

Love the artwork and the idea of creating a turn-based puzzle game.

It's a bit hard to determine - at first - who the player character actually is though. After I died the first time, I knew ...

Had fun coming up with the artwork and game idea so I'm glad that you enjoyed em!

Totally agree that I should've did something to better differentiate the sprites for more clarity. Thanks for the feedback!

What a nice game! Visuals and audio are great. Gameplay's a little iffy with the seeming random nature of it all, but it works :)

Thanks! Making the stages less pure rng is definitely on my list of post-jam update plans.

It looks like your exports are missing the .pck file so they're unable to run. See this page for more details: https://docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/getting_started/workflow/export/exporting_pcks.html
