What a fun puzzle platformer! The background lines indicating how the buttons and doors connect was a particularly nice touch, and I loved the pixel art. Well done!
Really like he pixelart in this game. But I wish there were 1 or 2 more robots and that jumping would've been easier. Nice job overall, congrats!
Cute puzzle game. It was really enjoyable to play.
I really like this solid puzzle game, but I feel like I cheated the last level. Simply flew the flying robot over the top to the exit? Didn't use any of the bottom of the level.
Still it's really well made, well done! :)
Fantastic puzzle-platformer! I loved the pixel art and its colours. Great branding for the game too, the logo is really good!
Thanks! The branding on the other jam games i made were all just so bland, so i felt like a really needed a good logo for this one.
very nice
Puzzle-platformers are such a perfect fit for game jams, and this is a good'un. The presentation is excellent, from the pixel art itself, to the transitions, to those tweens when you jump. In a few cases, I could step off of a switch and go past a door before it closed, which I'm pretty sure wasn't the intended route. Apart from that, nicely done!
Thanks! Yeah, going directly through the doors wasn't intended , but i got to say that it's fun to see the players solve puzzles from a completely diferent way than intended
lovevisuals, music and sfxPuzzles weren't very hard but weren't very easy too
Would have loved more variety in robots (maybe others that focus on things other than mobility)
Uhhhmmm.. what else, oh, you should work on the basic platformer :" (I am sure you spent most of the time on game mechanic but you need to work on the basics too)
Here are some tips for a nice guy i found
Thanks for the reply! Yeah, i focused top much on the mechanic. I will be sure to work more on the basics later. I only made 2 robots to avoid overscoping, but i really liked the sugestion of diferent types of robots. After learning some more godot i have plans to revisit this project, so i will keep that in mind. Loved the tips of the video btw
Like the colour palette and the idea of controlling robots. Jumping was a bit tricky, I guess I'm out of practice at platforming!
Thanks for the reply! The platforming part is unintentionally tricky because of the robot collision
Loved this game - really cool to control different robots. I found the jump mechanic a little finnicky and kept hitting my head! Guess I'm not elite enough.
Overall lovely game, nice aesthetic and I like how you used colour to show you were controlling the bots.
Thanks, really happy you liked It! The robot collision is not 100% ok, that's why the jumping part is strange
Nice idea and I think well executed!
I had a fait bit of fun and enjoyed the art aswell.
It was quite easy to glitch the buttons and stay in robot form and still have the doors/hatches stay open, but it didn't make it less fun
Thanks! Glad you had fun even with the bugs
Wow I love this game! The art is really good and the characters feel really good to control! Great work!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
Agree with the other comment about the box jumping but I loved this. Such a nice aesthetic!
Thanks!
Thank you! I just learned about one way collider because of your comment, it will be very useful!
Well done! I liked the art a lot and the puzzles were interesting. It was a bit difficult sometimes to jump up the alternating platform walls due to the hitboxs
Thanks for the feedback!
Great work I enjoyed playing your game! The art looks fantastic and I especially liked the scene transition. Although the jumping robot feels a bit unreliable in its movement mainly because the acceleration is sometimes stronger and sometimes weaker (Did you use delta for calculating the acceleration ?) and the hitbox is pretty large which made some jumps hard to execute. But overall great game the idea has a lot of potential.
Thanks! I used move and slide in the movement and jump, i'm not sure i need to use delta with it.
