Great game! The Barracuda controls are awesome and easy to use, the segment addition is a fun way to upgrade and I liked the sfx! Reminds me of Ace of Seafood.
I’m Urchin you to continue developing this one! The Barracuda feels amazing to control, and looks great.
Awesome job!
It shall be! I hope to complete it to the original gamejam scope before the next GWJ.
I agree with the other commenters : the controls are perfect! I was not a big fan of the sound effects but the gameplay more than made up for it. Great game!
Wow! controlling the barracuda feels really smooth and natural. Great job with the 2D physics and overall gameplay.
My only suggestion will be to cause damage with the head or maybe biting ?
The swimming of barracuda felt great and while I sucked at the game (got instantly killed when first enemies appeared) I had fun.
So satisfying to play through! Was nice trying to find the balance of what to upgrade and buy. Good work! The urchin was such a neat enemy, although totally kicked my butt ;p
Thanks! I would have really liked to get the full scope of upgrade options in there... oh well, post-jam version!
The urchin idea is fully credited to CptFubar!! :P :P
Nice work, really fun and satysfying controls.
