Game Description
After the default cube found itself lost in space, it needed to journey back to the nearest light tower, equipped with only the most high tech equipment available, it began to journey forth powered by frustration alone.

How does your game tie into the theme?
The player needs to assemble the most efficient cube to get from point A to B as creatively as possible.

Give a task and building pieces, reach the end however you want. Fun game, fun idea. Sorta hard to control the parts but can make do. Biggest concern was the audio effects, especially when all play and replay together.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback goodguyplayer, I do agree the audio needed some work, I think we needed a global variable checking only one sound effect is playing at a time, will keep it mind for next time!

Really enjoyed the sounds and setup, nice and straight forwards - great job!

Thanks Moohm, appreciate the feedback!

Interesting concept and mechanic.

Adding a tutorial would help a lot as it wasn't clear at the beginning how to build the thing ;)

Good job though!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback and playing the game 2coderok, seems pretty consistent we shouldve added a tutorial :)

Seems like an interesting idea. I like the visual style too. I didn't play much though, the game ran really really poorly in my browser. Not sure if it's a chrome issue or my machine but it was pretty much unplayable for me.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback LittleBeardMan, its working generally well in the browsers we tested (firefox / chrome  / brave - on windows), which platform are you on so we can try test it? Also was it lag or glitching? Would be good for us to know for future game jams. Again thanks for trying out our game!

No problem! I'm using chrome on Windows. It was running at like 8-10 fps and freezing pretty consistently. After having played a few other 3D browser games in this jam it seems to be an issue with me specifically, as they all run really poorly while no-one else seems to be having the same issue. 3D Godot games run fine for me as executables, just not in my browser. Maybe I have an extension or something that's messing with it? Not sure.

Regardless, I don't think it's an issue with your game specifically like I did originally! Sorry to worry you unnecessarily lol.

Hard to figure out,, but rewarding once you do! This game is very interesting and I would love to see more - a tutorial level would also be useful, where it explains what all the parts do.

Thanks alot, appreciate the feedback, you're absolutely right a tutorial level wouldve made it more clear how to progress!

Muy buena idea, me parece muy interesante como es el juego, tal vez no es muy intuitivo al principio, pero luego cuando uno aprende a jugarlo es divertido

Developer

Muchas gracias por jugar el juego, aprecio los comentarios :)

An original concept! I was really lost for the first few minutes. I didn't know how to use the other part types as I was only able to use the rockets. This can be a good core build to develop from!

Developer(+1)

You're right, we should have made a tutorial level explaining the mechanics, thanks for playing :)
