Nice approach to the theme! There was one point where my foot prints just didn't happen, so couldn't orient myself very well, but otherwise it was a fun experience. Great submission!

thanks for playing!  The footprint bug and a few others ended up being caused by not locking player movement before the next scene was fully loaded *woops*  the bug has been fixed and shortly after voting is over I will be uploading a new version that fixes it!

awesome! It just took a little extra patience, but was super awesome regardless!

As it was being said mini map would help a lot :)

Such a cute game! You've nailed the exploration aspect! I think having more details on the snow could've helped players see where they were going. A minimap too, but that's extra work that takes time. Great work overall! Thank you!

Thank you for the kind words!  I agree a minimap or some form of way to be able to know where you are heading would be helpful and would like to add something when updating.

I had a lot of fun exploring the map and the soundtrack is really good! I just wish there were more landmarks in the map since it can sometimes be hard to tell where you are exactly, and you don't know if you've hit an invisible wall or what happened. Can't wait to play the refined version after the jam!

Thanks for playing and thank you for the feedback!  I have an idea of adding either a GPS or map system when I work on the update but  have yet to fully commit to what idea I want to go with.

Really nicely done! I'm a sucker for resource gathering and crafting so this was right up my alley. Really cool (...no pun intended) weather system, the art was great, and the music set the vibe really well. I loved the touch of leaving footprints in the snow, then tracking snow around inside the buildings. I think I missed the instruction on how to open the crafting screen, so I was a little lost for a bit, but I figured it out and it was satisfying to get the generators fixed up. Great job!

Thank you for the kind words! I am glad you enjoyed playing it and I look forward to pushing a small update after the jam voting is over :)

Really interesting entry. Neat art style and impressive music, gameplay really fun too.

Thanks!
as a side note, the music is from ZapSplat.com and is royalty-free, I ran out of time to make music for the game. there should be a reference in the credits to the website, great resource for video game audio.
