What a blast from the past! This is a pretty neat concept - I think it could be neat to play in the playspace of map randomization, and to maybe add a "next up:" spell to make strategic decisions about what spell to choose next. Some mechanics could be telegraphed better - like how each spells have different range. Great job, very solid entry!
Thanks for playing! I wanted to generate a random map each time, but didn’t get around to it. A few people have mentioned the spell range indicator, that’s a great idea.
I love this aesthetic, as an old fogey this really tickled my brain. The movement mechanics felt quite smooth and the turn based elements were interesting! I would have liked a discard/swap mechanic because there were a few times I had sets like heal, heal, shield pop up in the middle of combat. XD
Nice implementation of the wildcard as well. Overall a great entry!
I’ve played the Windows version and liked the idea of choosing from 3 random spells at a time during combat, it made it feel quite dynamic, even if the game itself is turn-based. You don’t see 3D movement like this that often, so it felt refreshing to play, nice entry!

I love the roguelike deckbuilder genre so I was super excited when I saw the kind of game you made. It is a short but fun experience, I managed to beat it on the first try.
It's a good mix of a 3d tile-based exploration and deck-building, congrats on your entry! :)
Nice work! I really enjoyed playing and it took me a handful of attempts to figure out the best way to manage my spells and avoid dying! The presentation is nice and I liked the fact that you could pick up new spells along the way to help you make it to the end.
The unique mechanic of straining your memory to clear out active spells was pretty interesting, and I could see it being really cool if you were facing enemies with different weaknesses, etc. This game definitely seems like it would have a lot of potential as a roguelite or similar.
One thing I sort of missed from other turn-based games was the ability to visualize/target attacks. Sometimes I wanted to hit an enemy that was “in range” but it wasn’t feasible without moving into their range of attack. I think allowing the player to aim some spells, or just showing the area of effect might have made it feel a little more intuitive.
Overall great job though, really enjoyed playing!

Nice game! I am amazed that you achieved a 3D game with good menuing in only a few days! It works well and the memory mechanics is interesting!
For me, it lacks a background music and an ending screen ('cause I finally found the great recall but yet I can't recall anything! :P).
(Just so you know : I am using the linux build on ubuntu 20.04 LTS and it runs perfectly.)

The implication is that you have been stuck in a loop forever. The spell you think will restore your memory is actually what erases it, and you wake up only knowing that you need to find the spell. Maybe that wasn’t obvious enough though :)
Pretty sick! Gameplay was solid. I found myself having to strategize how to stay alive several times. Good job with the GUI on the options menu. I'm not the biggest fan of tank controls but they worked decently for this game. Keep it up!
