Thanks for submitting, the graphics and sound were very nice. But the game itself was too short and didn't get a real  sense of accomplishment when I reach the goal and the cat was released.

Maybe adding some other elements that involved the player moving to other stations/collecting materials would have made it better.

The graphics including color pallette and animations was marvelous! The shiny gems looked really valuable :D

The game idea is fun once you realize what to do. I really liked the sfx and the visuals. Like others, I liked that switching between views (i.e. looking at things from a different point of view) lets you notice small details that could be overlooked.

Once I understood what to do, it was really nice! :D
I really like the idea of having three different visualizations of the same thing, and having to compare them to make a set. It's an idea with a lot of potential, because almost anything can be represented with fractions, and i would like to see it expanded! Also because different visualizations have different pros and cons; for instance, the "numerical view" distinguishes between 1/2 and 2/4, but turning them into pies or bars makes you realize they're the same. If you manage to push on this way, leveraging on the necessity to change visualization to compare things, I believe this could give you a great mechanic :)
(I'm just wondering, I do not mean to tell you what to do ^^)

Congrats, that was a good entry ;)

hey Thoozee! I can sense your excitement, please do not hesitate to suggest more!

I am so happy you can see the potential as you have already gave examples of some possibilities that emerge through play.

I sure hope to work on this mechanic again from September onrwards, would love to chat again.

Thanks for playing!

This was fun. The puzzle was the right amount of puzzling. With more variation this would be great fun while waiting for a meeting or whenever.

hey channel1776, glad you enjoyed it!

I wish I had time to start with a simple level of just dragging one fraction to one node, then building up with the different representations and the recycling nodes.

Thanks again!

I don't understand how this game works really.

Developer

hello Jebus! Thanks for dropping by!

1. You need to move the player to the malfunctioning machine on the bottom left.

2. Try to find three fractions with the same fraction (magnitude). Place them on any of the three triad nodes. Repeat until all three triads are full.

PS: you can use "R"-key to reroll all, or any of the 4 recycling nodes to help you with changing representations or rerolling just one fraction.

Hope this helps!

hi! i absolutely adore the graphics and the vibe of this but i am also super lost D: how do i move the player character

Developer

hello nomiiuwu!

Thanks for not giving up!

If you use the arrow keys and approach the machine it all should work fine.

From there, its mouse time only.

Hope this helps!

PS: if you click the fullscreen, it might cause issues so you need to click back in again

The graphics and sounds were nice. Sitting on bench was nice too :P

I wasn't completely sure how the main mechanic worked at first, but it turned out to be quite easy to learn. Having the different ways of visualizing the fractions threw me off at first for some reason.

Btw I noticed one bug, you can solve the puzzle by placing say 1/2:s on one trio of slots, and then reusing the same ones on the other two slot trios. It doesn't undo the solved slots after them out.

hey Frousen! Thanks for playing and leaving this helpful comment!

Nice that you found out that way of bypassing the system :)

I had to rush many parts of the coding and that shows (e.g. couldnt properly introduce a "winning state").

Thanks for chilling on the bench, and thanks for playing!
