Was quite fun! Definitely impressed that  you managed to make a strategy game in such a short amount of time. Love that you could see your town coming together in the background! Well done :D

I’m really happy you enjoyed the game! It was tough though as we had to start a bit later than we expected 😅

This game gave me nostalgia of the old browser games i used to play (like Utopia)! Really liked the UI-based tower defense concept. Took me the first play through to understand that i needed to raise defense to survive waves. A clearer indicator of how far I am away from the enemy waves would be good!

Got a few waves in by spamming archery towers! Would have liked to build a siege tower too, but i cant figure out the prerequisites sadly

Developer

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I’m really happy you enjoyed it! Will take a look how to improve those things 😊

To build. A siege tower you need first a forge, then the barracks, then the watchtower and then you vmcan build the siege tower. We did it this way to balance the siege towe.

Great first impression. I think you should continue working on this. With the right amount of polish I really think this can turn into something bigger.

I would love to if I can find some time! Thanks for you feedback 😊

I had fun with this. I tried several play-throughs but I didn't defeat the final wave. It would be good to see my income per turn somewhere on the UI and maybe a number in the corner of each building button that shows me how many I currently have. But overall, I enjoyed playing it - good job! :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, even I had some trouble defeating the final wave! We’re really glad you could enjoy the game 😊

Hello, the idea of creating a city builder for a game jam was quite bold, I liked that you included several construction options!

However, I had some difficulty using the interface. When hovering the mouse over the buildings, a kind of menu (I believe it was their information) kept appearing over the button I wanted to click.

I found the relationship with the theme a little vague, but it's not something that gets in the way.

That said, I liked the game, congratulations on the project and on your first jam! Hope to see you in the next ones!

Thanks a lot for your feedback! We had to rush a few things in the end so the polish fase never came to be 🫤

I hope you have enjoyed the game even with the bugs 😄
