Cool game, I like the idea here. Might have benefitted from the mouse being locked to the window so you can't click out and get an auto pasta launcher cannon lol.
I think the combination with clicker and the specific way you did the vampire survivors type of gameplay is interesting.
I do think a vampire survivors clone is really tricky to clone well and get right overall.
One thing I noticed is that it's hard to see the mouse cursor when there's so much pasta, wish there was a way that the cursor could be more easily seen.
Your idea is very ambitious and I really commend you for getting something like this done so quickly in such a short amount of time, I actually think you did a pretty good job on this one!
Very fun, I like the idea of combining a topdown shooter's incremental progression with the progression of a clicker game. I do wish that the autoclicker worked while I was in combat though, then there would be less downtime between rounds.
I also don't really get the connection to copypastas as internet folklore? I get the idea but it seemed like it was about pasta, not copy pastas. Not a huge deal as it was still fun regardless of the theme and you got started on a project it sounds like you've been thinking about for a while!
Cool idea! I definitely think this has potential to be expanded into a full game. If you do expand it I would consider a more complex mechanism for gathering pasta. I was also unsure about the value of upgrading my pasta power as I seemed to kill the enemies with one shot on minimal power anyway? But fun and strangely addictive!
oh i have so much i want to add to this game! the full thing is gonna be much more in depth, this was a proof of concept for me. thank you so much for the feedback and for playing~! hope you stick around for the full version :)
It's a pretty funny concept, I think it's even addictive haha
Good job! :D
thank you so much! my initial idea for this game was making the most addicting game i can, lol. hope you stick around for the full version!
I love the concept! Vampire Survivors style games have always been on the edge of an idle game so I feel like this fuses really well with the semi-idle style of a clicker game. It'd be nice if the pasta shooter had maybe a one-shot on_just_pressed with the rapid fire having a short wind-up delay before it can fire on_pressed so that you don't have to fire clumps of your limited supply of ammo unless you want to. I look forward to seeing a pasta-pun laden implementation of various classic copypastas!
hey thank you so much for the feedback! you bet theres gonna be so many puns in this game lol. this time around i just wanted a working gun, but im actually gonna add a couple of weapons with different shooting mechanics and ammo consumption so there's more to see, hope you stick around to play it :)
genuinely had a blast! played for quite some time trying to get more and more powerups
thank you so much im so glad to hear that! hope you'll stick around for the full version one of these days :)
A good clicker that made me hungry!
thanks a bunch! hope you had a great meal after playing ;)
very interesting concept! I love the aesthetic the most for sure! the cookie clicker aspect was a bit hard to get used to but not bad
hey thanks so much for playing! would love to hear what you found hard about the clicker so i can improve the next version :)
