Game Description
A challenge around boxes
How does your game tie into the theme?
You as a player collect lights in the dark area. Theme is kinda loosly tied to the game, rather the wildcards gave me more inspiration.

7:51! I guess I'm a sucker for a bizarre experience, nice work! It was so weird to have to hold WS or AD, it felt so unnatural. I appreciate the thought you put into the curses.
Great job incorporating the wild cards! I can appreciate the chaos despite how challenging it made things.
Hahahaaa! I had a blast playing this one. That was a dozen minutes of my life well-spent! I gave five stars for originality, and I loved the simple yet effective neon graphics. Nice music too.
Thank you! Music was outsourced, but all the sound effects were made by me, except the duck quack sound.
Overall, I think the chaos is just fine, but I found the obscene camera shake to be annoying. Having the reorient myself to changes to controls, or changes to the camera/visuals was just fine. The screen shake just made it so I couldn't even see what was going on. It felt more like I was being cheated than challenged.
Yeah. I tried to have the screenshake to minimum, but noticable still. Maybe should have added it to the settings as disable option. Thanks for the feedback!
Fun game, though a little overstimulating. Finished at 5:58:18. Do the upgrades wear off after time, or just randomly?
It works this way: whenever a red-light-object is picked up it decides randomly what effect is put on or off. every odd is effect that is related to player like speed and midas-touch and every even collected red-light is environment effect like camera-switch and angle. And same effect can't be the next effect than what was switched last time on.
I made it so some wear of like camera changes back to the third-person-camera after a while. So does the hyperspeed wears off after a while. I thought they were little bit too much if they would have gone for too long.
I could have added some status-bar as indicator how long they last. Maybe every effect could be just a temporary effect with timer instead switching on and off.
This game has a ton going on! . All of the control changes paired with camera changes made it a bit overwhelming for me.
This is trippy. A lot of cool ideas here and the duck sound got a laugh out of me.
Good job!
Thank you! I got more ideas, but some of them would have been hard to fit in within jam's time and life got in a way so this is what we got. :D glad you liked it!
Wow. A curse is right.
I managed to finish it in 04:24.07, maybe a bit too chaotic for me but I still had some fun.
Thank you. I know it is a bit chaotic, balancing this was bit hard as most of the effects happen in random order. Earlier it was in specific order, but it started to get too familiar to me. But I guess it wouldn't be so bad for a this size of game either.
