It was really nice that you were able to add a tutorial section in, especially since there are some issues with movement in this game. I found that I could not move at all at the beginning of the tutorial and the first wave, but if I kept trying, eventually the character would start to move. When it works, I think the movement is pretty nice, as I was able to dodge and weave through enemies in later waves.
The number of enemies in each wave is more of less appropriate, but it's very easy to end up getting swarmed. It was also hard to tell what was happening whenever I was hit. At first I thought I was being instructed on how to avoid being hit again, but now I think you're inflicted with some sort of curse each time? That's a nice concept but it needs to be more clear.
Overall, I did find this game very fun. The different enemy types keep things engaging and the sound of your character's footsteps is oddly satisfying. Good job!
I really liked the enemy design, the glowing eyes, letting you know they are there but not which kind. The pacing was off, some waves were good but others had nothing then all of a sudden I'm surrounded by a dozen. It took me a few minutes to realize that the attack is ranged, I thought clicking just aimed and it was melee. I had been clicking in the dark, where the slash didn't show up (but thankfully still did damage if the enemy was partially lit).
Also, I love that you actually gave a little tutorial and intro sequence. Nice work!
Don't know if it's a bug or not bug I had to wait ~2min30 befre having the first (and only) enemy in wave 1, maybe I was moving too much looking for them ? Approximatively the same time for the next wave (but more ennemies). Other than that, art is cool, footstep sound too thanks for this entry :)
Although an unusual approach to player movement, I kinda of liked moving around. I think it was the footstep sound effect. I think this one is very nice, good job :)
Controls felt laggy due the slow movement but other than that it was a great game.
At first I thought the game was broken due to the slow starting movement speed. Loved the ability to pick colors!
