I really liked the hand-draw type art, and the gameplay is simple and fun. but I'm not sure if I played well, because I felt like I had to discover a passage to get to the right side, since it is illuminated and I thought that was the goal.
Anyway, it's great work! :D
Very cute hand-drawn art style, love it. The gameplay loop was nice and easy to understand, and the concept as a whole was very charming. My only wish is that maybe the focus of the camera was more on the player instead of the empty room while you're not hiding from the lady. As it is now the gameplay happens only in like a quarter of the screen for most of the time. But other than that, good job :D
Nice submission.
The jumping sound is really cute as is the art, well done!
I really enjoyed the theme of this game. Feed the hungry polar bear? Sign me up!
Well done! I love everything about your game, the art (your drawing really adds a lot to the game :3), the mechanics, the game loop. Very creative and fun to play.
If I'm not wrong the lady will go look at the freezer when you reach around 5000 points, I think that you can make this happen earlier, maybe at the time you reach like 700-1000 points.
Congrats on being able to submit!
The grandma has a hidden meter that starts at 65 (to get the first encounter happen faster, but could have increased it further as you said :D) and when it gets to 100 she will appear. Breaking ice increases the meter by 17 and the meter ticks down by 1 every second. I spent almost all of the last day balancing and it was 100% the hardest part of the project and could have done a waaay better job at it. Thanks for the feedback!
