Hi! I played through your game on stream. You can watch the video & feedback here (timestamped):

Interesting game idea but it seemed like you didn’t have time to make levels after the tutorial, or I didn’t understand how to go further (or was bugged). The rest of the execution was good!

Also in the beginning I wonder if the thumbnail was AI-generated, it didn’t really look like the in-game art but I give benefit of the doubt. It is not allowed to use AI-generated assets per GWJ rules (and in general you should properly credit/license resources if you didn’t make everything yourself).

If you’d like to you can follow me on your favorite platform(s) via https://vikfroshideout.xyz/. To join in chat for next time for more interactivity & fun :)

Nice idea and a good direction for the pixel art, though as others have said it doesn't look quite right when the pixels are all different sizes, the game art doesn't end up looking very consistent though every individual piece is well-designed.  The music was also nice and the game could be really fun! I think the freeze mechanic works well here!

I couldn't really play the game however because the tutorial dialogue would constantly fire up on restart whilst enemies could already come and interfere with me and the timer already went down. This happened so quickly that I could never even really figure out how to deliver gifts at all. I did have a score of one but it didn't show in the end-game screen.

Who could resist delivering presents to cute little penguins? Good job on this one, congratulations. I would recommend using the same pixel size wehen working with pixel art, and I suspect there might be an issue with the win condition, jam classic ;) btw love the jungle remix of Frosty the Snowman.

This is very cute, and I love the way the freezing mechanic ties in with the gameplay. A+ job on the art and sound as well - very cute and cozy.

Tried to play it but there is definitely a problem with the win/lose condition checking that's making the game unplayable. It looked like a really nice interpretation of the theme though.

Like the others here, the game ends immediately after reaching the end of the intro dialogue. But the art and core game idea sounds neat!

I really enjoyed the art style of this. The penguins with their hearts chasing Santa were super cute. I also ran into a problem with the game ending early, so I'd love to see more.

Hey! Not sure if it is a bug but the game ends when I reach the last dialogue
