Glad you liked the concept, and will note down your feedback + bug reports! The recruit more definitely needs more work, as I'm learned the nuances between when to use + instead of *.

Thanks! I've been brewing on new type of questions to ask that is more broader, and how to redo the adventurers to give more details/hints of what kind of answers they will give.

that's a good point. will add that to my ToDo list!

That is a great point. I'll add that to my to-do list of having a demo before gameplay start to explain/show how the newlyweds game works.

Woah getting flashbacks to the old school computer days. The vibes are spot on. Though I would say as I'm rusty in text commands, would be handy how to interact with the dialog that starts while I'm "accessing" the computer.

I liked how real the dialogue response are like having a full conversation.

The story is very immersive. Felt like a real drama movie scene.

The story is intriguing and I like having the story status bar so I know what left to learn about the story from the choices. I like it is setup in first person perspective so when the screen is black it's clear, it's the character's internal dialog. Glad you used the VN Template I'm interested in learning that looks like it's pretty easy to use.

Thanks for the feedback and happy to hear the game idea has potential! Glad would be useful for ya.

Glad to hear you had fun! Yea I had the classes answer in that order so it's easier for me to track the answers. Thanks for the feedback. I'll fix up those issues soon.

Thanks for noticing!

The black friday theme is amusing. And funny to use toaster as a turret. The camera controls is very disorienting so made it hard to play much of the game and I had to ALT+F4 to quit out of the game cuz it was hard to get to the menu to pause the game.

The art and noir tone are great. But it was hard to tell the baddies were taking hits since it looks like they were blocking when I attack them so some of the early fights takes a longer than I expected for starter baddies.

The art style and animated cutscenes are great! The idea is novel though found the game fairly difficult when encountering the ant line.

yeah time ran out by the time I realized the game was running too slow. Will have to keep that in mind for next time!

Neat idea, but the positioning and controls make it hard for me to place 2nd or third item how I want with the first item.

The theme and art are fun! And cool to see the game going into chaos towards the end.

A unique take on the survival game with how you trigger attacks. I wish the attack cooldown was less felt pretty easy to get overwhelmed. And using K key to navigate the menu when using WASD control configuration is a little awkward.

A very thematic game with a fun twist. The music help adds to the tone of the game.

You got a functional game submitted that is great for your first game jam! I like the level design with obstacles narrowing the player's shooting lanes and the UX indicating when the next wave is coming in.

I didn't hear any sound effects or if the music was playing over it. But the music is good though I was able to tell when it looped.

I just gave the quickstart rules a quick read-through. I like the idea so far with the back and forth in the combat with the reactions. I am worried that starting levels in the game are super lethal for players who roll poorly in their starting HP.

I love the positivity in the game!

I love the Animal Crossing casual vibes!

I like the art style and music help enhance the theme/tone of the game with each turns urgency. It kinda reminds me of a board game.
