Fun twist on hockey and zombie game. I wished there was a way to sprint.
Very fun game! The movement of both the player and the puck felt spot on to me, and it was satisfying killing multiple zombies in a single hit!
It felt like the hitbox for the zombie or the player is too big. There were a few times I felt I had enough space to slide through, but was caught. Additionally, I’m not a fan of sudden-spawned ambushes. It’s one of those kinda game tricks that can mess with a player (especially on a first run) regardless of their actually skills simply because there’s no way to see it coming. That said, though, these criticisms could be a e thing.

It was quite fun and original! Hokey-survival :) Would be cool to have some upgrades between levels!
Impressive that you two made the whole game from scratch - I did the same thing and it was no easy feat. The only thing that would have been cooler than jamming out to heavy metal while shredding zombies would have been jamming out to heavy metal while shredding through zombies with sound. The music got me hyped at first, but the lack of feedback made it feel kind of incomplete. I'm assuming that was a time issue, given that you obviously had to spend a lot of time making your own assets. Believe me, I've been there. :/

Really cool idea! The controls and movement felt great. I like the skating marks on the floor but I do miss the addition of sound effects.
Ouch, as already mentioned they didn't make the cut eventually due to time issues, it hurts that they are missed so often.
Awesome game! Really fun and satisfying to play. Please add more "feedback" sounds and visuals for the puck hit and kills (I saw you mentioned in another comment that you had this planned), it will add so much to the game!

Hell ya this game is badass! The music is great, the hockey meets murdering enemies is so much fun. Also, I love the little touch where you persist the player's skating lines. it makes me feel good when I've completely taken up all the screen. Nice game, most fun so far.
This means a lot! My only goal for the jam is to not waste someones time. So I don't mind submitting a short game as long as the player has fun along the way
That was fun! The blade marks on the ice were a nice touch. It's a pity there's no sfx, just an effect for when the puck bounces on something and another for killing a zombie would have added so much!
you are touching a sore spot. We had all this prepared but did not add it to the game due to last minute real life issues. zombie sounds, puck sounds... life happens I guess.
It's no gamebreaking bug so we didn't request a resubmit
It was fun, but I think it was too short. maybe a few more levels would have been better.
A little polishing in the artistic section would have also improved the experience.

It's a zombie ap-hockey-lypse! Terrible joke, but interesting game! The levels had some cool multi-shot opportunities that were satisfying. The only real criticism I have is that the zombies didn't slide around like the player, so it slightly broke the skating immersion there. But this was fun!
This was a lot of fun. Right down my ally. Could happily keep playing level after level if there we more. Music is also bad ass. Nice one
I love the concept of a top-down shooter where you have to go retrieve your ammo. Really fun like others have said to line up a multi-kill bounce. Would love to see where else this game could go!

Lining up zombies for multi-kills was so satisfying. Loved the touch of seeing the skate marks on the ice.
This was a lot of fun, I loved the movement and managing the bounce of the puck, trying to line up multiple targets. There were situations where I was surrounded and it felt really satisfying to make it out with a well placed bounce. I think this was a really well executed premise.
This was a unique concept! I really liked the puck bouncing mechanics and had a blast killing zombies. I also jammed out heavily to the music, definitely fits the tone super well. Great submission
