Fun little game. Good job.

But I didn't manage to get one animal. Whatever would be on 4 (a boar maybe?) I didn't find. But anyway, it was fun to play around with the different advantages each animal brings. Nice one!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, I didn't have time to make boars. I may make up for it later

The fox cannot jump further (. But I really liked the rotation of the text and this kind of old monitor like in Caves of Qud, could you please post an Open Source? At least I'll find out what's next.

Developer

I used the built-in bbcode effect in Godot for the text effect, while the scanline effect is a modified version of this shader:https://godotshaders.com/shader/vhs-and-crt-monitor-effect/

Like similar folks I got stuck after transforming into a fox. I was able to jump higher as a fox, but not high enough to get out of the hole.

I like the idea of rescuing animals and then becoming them to progress.

Developer

Thank you, I may use the frame rate function (_physics process) in Godot, so it may have different effects on some devices, my bad my bad my bad(T_T)

Submitted

Did you multiply the speed*delta in the function? I think that might help stabilize the frame rate on different machines.

Developer

I think it's because I didn't add it

Submitted

Very nice game graphics wise. I ended up stuck in the first hole, not being able to figure out how to jump high as a fox.

Anyways, it is a nice job, I think you shouldn't be so harsh with yourself and your work.

I believe it is your first entry in this jam, so congrats!

Keep up the good work.

Developer

Thank you very much!! There may be a small bug in the middle that prevents the bird from transforming

the art in this looks great and it's a fun game concept. not sure why you thought you did a bad job, it's very nice. congrats on the submission!

Developer

Thank you so much!!

I transformed into a fox but I'm not able to do the long jump. I don't know why but the long jump is not working for me.

Developer

I think it's because transforming into a wolf is a long jump, while foxes have slightly higher knowledge than humans

Submitted

This was very good. I was confused how to transform at first (what is a "prompt button"?) Could benefit from some sounds / music. Other than that I enjoyed it!

Developer

Thanks for your review, I'll keep it in mind for the next game I make

I couldn't seem to clear the first jump as a fox... Not sure if it's a bug or I'm missing a mechanic somehow. Graphics were nice though!

Thank you for your comment. The number key [2] can transform into a fox
