Nicely done! I was sometimes baffled when I got hit, although nothing really hit me. Sometimes it was because the range of the weapon wasn't really great and other times I still got hit by just died enemies (in the state where they are falling). Also the "leveling" happened way too less for my taste and I wasn't fully understanding what each of the two button were doing, as the labels stated the same thing. It took me a while until I understood when and how I can "restore" those sites and I still don't know what these will do, honestly.

But it has potential and for the short amount of time you described you spent on it, it's in a good, playable state.
Well done! :)

Great little game, well managed to get it done in the time.

Only thing that "bothered" me was that the gates to continue to the next level weren't that obvious to find.
But good job on the game!

Stunning graphics and what you achieved with that and a simple game play loop in such a short time.
Really cool that it looks so polished already. I lost somewhere with the 20 rats as enemies, because non of my three Meows were strong enough. But until then it was really fun!

Hehe, cute little game. I like the half strategy component, it holds. But I didn't quite get the sense in doing all that. There was no "goal". Anyway I liked that there were cats and I could increase my wealth and I think I can see where this is going. Hope you keep on working it after the jam! :)

The idea seemed to be really fun, but the controls of the dummy-thingy was really hard. Also it was really hard to anticipate whether this will now really fit in the shape or not and being off a bit too much already destroys the shape.

But I like the idea and I think the "Game Show" moderation/concept also gave it a nice touch! I liked that some of you spoke that intro (at least it sounded like it). Gave it a personal flair.

But still very good idea and for the time very well done!

I see the potential, but got already stuck unfortunately with the spikes. The first worked out after 2-3 attempts, but the second was never good enough to be a railroad spike. And at some point I even think the center of game moved and the camera was a bit lower than in the beginning.

I really like the concept and I think this can be a great game though. I really hope you keep working on that!

I really liked the game.

First of all I liked that there was a way to change the player. Then I liked the Pokémon like fight-screen and battle the other skier to go past them. And the rest was an easy enough concept to grasp fast and really progress in the game.

A couple of seconds immunity or something would be nice to not get in to a fight, when the lanes are all pretty packed.

But all in all, good job!

Got a big addicted. Fun little game. I am always a sucker for games like Vampire Survivors. Good job!

Fun little game. Good job.

But I didn't manage to get one animal. Whatever would be on 4 (a boar maybe?) I didn't find. But anyway, it was fun to play around with the different advantages each animal brings. Nice one!

Read to late, that I should've downloaded in order to read anything the text was supposed to say.
But I was still able to play a little bit. Got a bit annoyed when in the second level on thing came in from the side, while I was on that side and instantly killed me. Instead of the level just continuing and me only loosing a live instead of restarting.

But the sword shooter got me most of the time. This thing was well skilled shooter :D

It was still fun though for a short little, casual round. Good job! :)

Cute little  game and how the creature evolves :). I like the concept.
Sometimes the feedback for the bottom items didn't feel like as they were doing something. But in the end I made it to the end :D.

It was quickly understandable what I gotta do, to achieve something.

Fun little game. It was hard to understand when the energy collection counted as it felt like if I don't collect it immediately it won't count anymore. But it was fun and I managed to win. Liked the super fast shooting in the end :D.

Good job!

This game is amazing. I like the mix of table top game and fighting in 2D.
Incredible textures, UI and smooth performance of the overall game. Had a lot of fun. Well done!

Yeah, after each loop you have the choice to go back to the camp, but since we didn't have the time to implement more, there is nothing to do yet with the resources or in the loop itself.

Time is tough in a jam and we mostly scope more than the time we have. But it's fine. After the jam you can still work on it, so we can hear all the awesome music your brother made and everything else you prepared for the later levels :).

Thanks for the kudos :)!

I loved that all the sound effects are self-made.  Gave the whole game something personal and many sympathy points! Cool game. Good job!

It was fun, and I read that you didn't really have a concept. I am still glad you submitted this game, because I also see a lot of potential in it having way more to do with the basic core of it. Good job!

Cute, little game for a casual round. Good job!

What a good told story. At first I was like "Oh no, not a playable novel". But as I got more into the story I became more sucked into it and wanted to find out the end. I even played through all the endings. Very good written and very nice visuals. Good job!

Good job. I needed a bit time getting used to the controls. But after that it was a good experience and I had a lot of fun.

Poor snowy. I get his anger. I would be angry, too!
Good job on this game!

I noticed when I press "R" a second time I couldn't move snowy anymore.
Cute little game though and well done in the time!

Such a great game. I now have anger issues due to all those things falling down and I wasn't able to hold them up and I tried and tried and tried again, but I loved the game.
Good job! So well designed, balanced and well programmed. Awesome graphics.

It is a lovely casual shoot. It was fun playing it. Loved every minute. But it was too hard for me. I didn't stand the second wave till the end. Tried a couple of times. But it was really fun.
Good job!

Oh wow, then you did an awesome job still getting so much done. Can't wait to see more of this game.

Small little game, good for casually playing. Some effects could've hold a bit longer, as you have to collect them right away or they vanish and the spawn time varies, that sometimes the effect runs out before reaching more than one money bag.

But still a very good job for one developer and such a short time!

I got the little one the teddy bear but didn't manage to get whatever is needed for the third stand. Reading the comments here and if I understood it correctly, you didn't implement it?
At least I've got the little one the teddy bear and they are happy :D.

Cute little game. Good job!

Cool and short game. Sometimes it was hard to hit the guards or collect the resources from the floor as I was not positioned 100% correctly. But other than that it was a fun little game, which I really enjoyed. Good job!

I tried to avoid equilibrium but never succeeded :(.
Sad and short story, but well told. Loved it had some mini-games in it.

Very interesting game. I liked the strategic part a lot. Also the story telling was very well designed. You put a lot of thought into the choices and what they balance. Good job!

The first person mentioning/recognizing Cala! <3
Her song(s) will be forever with us! :(

In the next couple of weeks we will be defining the further ideas a bit more and post it in the devlog :).
Right now we are trying to get a bit more into learning about Godot, what is how possible. Also in our private life we are a bit distracted, due to things we need to plan. Therefore, every day we have a bit more detail on an idea, but not the full concept yet.

The kitten is saved by that other kitten in the story screen. But now it has to go on dangerous adventures to stay save and cozy in the cam.

And you (and your cat, as "it goes meeeoow") certainly help that kittens survive when we continue to work on that and release the next version (which will likely to take a while as we first want to learn one or two things more about Godot and then start over and private life of course - But it will be there!).

Hey there!
Thank you.

Yes, it is a "Loop Hero" inspired game. We still want to divert from that, but it is heavily inspired by that.
Unfortunately, due to less time because of our private life we didn't have the full jam and therefore have a lot "Not implemented" screens to just show the general direction and that we have more planned.

Thank you. We love to hear that. We'll keep you folks posted about the progress as we continue to work on that :).

Thank you for the feedback.
Heard that a lot now with the text. That is very valuable feedback. Thank you!

And yes, most definitely we will keep working on it.

Thank you!
Exactly, "Loop Hero" was our inspiration for this game, as we also like it very much. So it, at least for now, looks quite similar to the original, just with exchanged graphics.
We will try to adjust the loop and still make our own game out of it, but always keeping in mind our inspirational game.

Also I wanted to say that I really like the graphics. The kitten (at least in the start screen) look self drawn, but in a cute way. I adore this!

Thank you so much for your feedback! :)
And yes, you are unfortunately absolutely right. This like the most raw state this game can have. It is playable but without really being able to
be played. Kind of a playable screensaver. But as we continue working on that, this will change.

This game looks like a lot of fun and I really like the concept. I was so eager to keep playing, because the little robot is really cute and the whole building and resource gathering mechanic while fencing off enemies looks so promising. Unfortunately I wasn't able to build. Maybe I just didn't know how to place the buildings or it isn't implemented. I could see the blueprint of the building when pressing "b", but I wasn't able to really place it. Also collecting the resources, whether it was from enemies or in the other world. I couldn't spent it somewhere, when I jumped in time it was just gone. Also couldn't use it on upgrade screen when jumping back to the resource world. It was constantly "0" in the upgrade screen.

But I can imagine where this is going and I am a big fan of this idea. Hope you will keep working on that. Good job so far!

I think this game was the one I played the longest, big time! "Wasted" a complete hour in this, since I was having progress and all, thinking about my next upgrade etc. I was fully drawn into it. Started this game before my bed time and went far over it. If I wasn't feeling half a sleep because I am freaking tired I would still be playing. I tried sooo hard to stay awake just to keep playing.
For me the best game yet on this jam!

Thank you!

It was a fun experience, dunno when I last played a rail shooter.
It was a bit quick (enemies) from the beginning and the enemies close to the edges (when they were directly at you), were hard to hit (played in browser, so the edge for clicking out of the game was close).

Anyway, it was a small fun game. :)
