Nicely done! I was sometimes baffled when I got hit, although nothing really hit me. Sometimes it was because the range of the weapon wasn't really great and other times I still got hit by just died enemies (in the state where they are falling). Also the "leveling" happened way too less for my taste and I wasn't fully understanding what each of the two button were doing, as the labels stated the same thing. It took me a while until I understood when and how I can "restore" those sites and I still don't know what these will do, honestly.
But it has potential and for the short amount of time you described you spent on it, it's in a good, playable state.
Well done! :)

The idea seemed to be really fun, but the controls of the dummy-thingy was really hard. Also it was really hard to anticipate whether this will now really fit in the shape or not and being off a bit too much already destroys the shape.
But I like the idea and I think the "Game Show" moderation/concept also gave it a nice touch! I liked that some of you spoke that intro (at least it sounded like it). Gave it a personal flair.
But still very good idea and for the time very well done!
I see the potential, but got already stuck unfortunately with the spikes. The first worked out after 2-3 attempts, but the second was never good enough to be a railroad spike. And at some point I even think the center of game moved and the camera was a bit lower than in the beginning.
I really like the concept and I think this can be a great game though. I really hope you keep working on that!
I really liked the game.
First of all I liked that there was a way to change the player. Then I liked the Pokémon like fight-screen and battle the other skier to go past them. And the rest was an easy enough concept to grasp fast and really progress in the game.
A couple of seconds immunity or something would be nice to not get in to a fight, when the lanes are all pretty packed.
But all in all, good job!
Read to late, that I should've downloaded in order to read anything the text was supposed to say.
But I was still able to play a little bit. Got a bit annoyed when in the second level on thing came in from the side, while I was on that side and instantly killed me. Instead of the level just continuing and me only loosing a live instead of restarting.
But the sword shooter got me most of the time. This thing was well skilled shooter :D
It was still fun though for a short little, casual round. Good job! :)
Small little game, good for casually playing. Some effects could've hold a bit longer, as you have to collect them right away or they vanish and the spawn time varies, that sometimes the effect runs out before reaching more than one money bag.
But still a very good job for one developer and such a short time!
The first person mentioning/recognizing Cala! <3
Her song(s) will be forever with us! :(
In the next couple of weeks we will be defining the further ideas a bit more and post it in the devlog :).
Right now we are trying to get a bit more into learning about Godot, what is how possible. Also in our private life we are a bit distracted, due to things we need to plan. Therefore, every day we have a bit more detail on an idea, but not the full concept yet.
The kitten is saved by that other kitten in the story screen. But now it has to go on dangerous adventures to stay save and cozy in the cam.
And you (and your cat, as "it goes meeeoow") certainly help that kittens survive when we continue to work on that and release the next version (which will likely to take a while as we first want to learn one or two things more about Godot and then start over and private life of course - But it will be there!).
Hey there!
Thank you.
Yes, it is a "Loop Hero" inspired game. We still want to divert from that, but it is heavily inspired by that.
Unfortunately, due to less time because of our private life we didn't have the full jam and therefore have a lot "Not implemented" screens to just show the general direction and that we have more planned.
Thank you!
Exactly, "Loop Hero" was our inspiration for this game, as we also like it very much. So it, at least for now, looks quite similar to the original, just with exchanged graphics.
We will try to adjust the loop and still make our own game out of it, but always keeping in mind our inspirational game.
This game looks like a lot of fun and I really like the concept. I was so eager to keep playing, because the little robot is really cute and the whole building and resource gathering mechanic while fencing off enemies looks so promising. Unfortunately I wasn't able to build. Maybe I just didn't know how to place the buildings or it isn't implemented. I could see the blueprint of the building when pressing "b", but I wasn't able to really place it. Also collecting the resources, whether it was from enemies or in the other world. I couldn't spent it somewhere, when I jumped in time it was just gone. Also couldn't use it on upgrade screen when jumping back to the resource world. It was constantly "0" in the upgrade screen.
But I can imagine where this is going and I am a big fan of this idea. Hope you will keep working on that. Good job so far!
I think this game was the one I played the longest, big time! "Wasted" a complete hour in this, since I was having progress and all, thinking about my next upgrade etc. I was fully drawn into it. Started this game before my bed time and went far over it. If I wasn't feeling half a sleep because I am freaking tired I would still be playing. I tried sooo hard to stay awake just to keep playing.
For me the best game yet on this jam!
Thank you!
It was a fun experience, dunno when I last played a rail shooter.
It was a bit quick (enemies) from the beginning and the enemies close to the edges (when they were directly at you), were hard to hit (played in browser, so the edge for clicking out of the game was close).
Anyway, it was a small fun game. :)
