The theme of "strange power-ups" fits the game through cards that appear after each wave. These cards grant quirky abilities, like explosive eggs or summoning rats, allowing you to stack and combine them for unique strategies, making every run different and unpredictable.

Nice top-down shooter with interesting powerups. I especially liked the inventory system and the minigame of arranging things in my bag. My favorite item was the rat because of its strange shape and the cute rats it spawned.
The screenshake effect was just slightly too strong for me personally, but I liked the effects a lot in general.
Neat graphics, especially the menu and splash screen! I made it through to wave 11 :)

The game was really fun and the graphics were great, the only thing i can say is that it would have been nice to also be able to play it in the broswer.

A pretty fun game, and I liked the art, I got mostly rocks for some reason, idk if by design or by complete chance
The rocks are there to prevent you from picking up too many power-ups at once; it was a hasty idea to try to extend the gameplay a bit, lol. Well, thanks for playing!😊
Very nice music. It really blended with the game style and the effect is too notch.
Though I don't know if those eggs were to do something and also the game did get kinda stale as you play more.

Well, the eggs do damage to the enemy (quite a lot).
Maybe the game has become a bit obsolete because of time. Having to study and create the game at the same time leaves me tight.

i dig the art and music. the powerups were indeed strange. the gameplay was easy to understand loved the mini tutorial you made when equiping the powerup. overall nice work!

Fun strange shoot 'em up 😊!
This was an enjoyable wave survival game. The controls worked well, and the power-ups were indeed quite strange at times and sometimes even useless 😉. I think I saw all of them come by. Perhaps even more and crazier ones could be added in a future update. Or maybe the level could change a bit or have some obstacles added. Or bosses? Did not make it to one, do not know if there were any...?
The music had a great beat and fit well with the gameplay. The graphics with pixel art were also good.
All in all, a fun game and a solid jam entry. Keep up the good work 💪!
Well, the game doesn't have a boss (as much as I would love if it did) it was just a matter of time :/ . Anyway, I really enjoyed producing this game and would even like to update it in the future.

I could not get the game to open on my computer, it just says "Windows is protecting your computer" and I did`t have the option to try to ignore it. But from what I can see from your screenshots looks the art very pretty. And RATS!! :D
