Nice Fun Game! The game felt hard in the beginning but got it after dying few times. Also the neon glow style suits very well.  Great work!

This was really fun! The movement was GREAT and you really made me feel like a ninja. The way the ball sprite squeezes when moving fast made the game feel extra smooth, and I loved the slow-motion effects. It feels bad-ass to teleport, fall from the sky, stick bombs on enemies, and blow them up. I also appreciated the option to customize my ball color.

I have a few small recommendations:

  1. Can the game show a message telling me which upgrade I get after the wave?
  2. Can the bomb still explode even if it doesnt attach to anyone? The explosion effects are amazing and it feels bad to not get to see it because I missed :)
  3. The explosion effect feels extremely powerful, but it doesnt affect any enemies near the explosion. Maybe it could push them away a bit so it looks like theyre moved by the blast?

I think this has a lot of potential if you ever want to expand on it. Again, the best part of this game is that it really made me feel like a slippery ninja-ball with an array of deadly weapons. Very cool.

Hey thanks for your kind words buddy , really appreciate that you enjoyed the game!
and yes I kind of added the text displaying banner about upgrade receive but for some buggy reason probably not working , I will surely see to that so thanks for mentioning it.
also your 2nd point is good too I will surely consider it in later development phase of the game.
also 3rd point is good too I will consider that as well.
..those are some great eye catching points, I am thankful for your feedback means a lot.

Have a Nice Day!

I might have missed the text because I couldn't see the whole screen when I played in browser :) the sides (and maybe the top too) were slightly cut off. Cheers mate!

I confess that initially, I didn’t quite understand how the game worked and thought we just had to escape from the enemies. But then I felt something was missing because it was really difficult (spoiler: it still remained challenging even after I learned the controls haha), so I checked out your page on itch and discovered what I was missing.

After realizing that we could attack, teleport, and even slow down time to overcome tough situations, the gameplay improved significantly.

As I mentioned earlier, the game remained difficult, but it didn’t hinder the fun at all. I really enjoyed playing, especially with the subtle effects you added to the player and the enemy explosions.

I noticed that the triangles don’t seem to avoid obstacles when trying to reach the player, right? Sometimes they would bump into walls and get pushed around until they could finally escape and chase us.

The controls are good too, but I think there are too many functions mapped to the right mouse button. It might be a good idea to separate some of those to another button.

Since you mentioned you plan to keep working on it, I assume each color will have its own unique advantages and disadvantages, right? It’s definitely going to be even better than it already is.

Overall, it’s a great game, and I hope you continue developing it.

Congratulations on the project, and good luck in your career as a developer!

Cool game but very hard hahah. I couldn't really get a hang of the controls, maybe like a free roam level would be nice to just experiment with the mechanics. Also I didn't really get the them in it but it's just me I liked the game tho! Has lot of interesting stuff to it!

Hey thanks so much for playing the game and also I am happy you liked the game,

I wanted to introduce a intro tutorial kind of level and also to make the game more appealing to the theme of jam, but some how during development . my mind was giving me so much ideas to implement and  I kind  of got into the feature creep situation the more time I spent on developing the game, that is why I just sticked to basic and finished the game with few intentional feature kept aside for later and just made game to play and end and play again which will probably hurt my chances of winning but never the less I enjoyed the jam and learned a lot .

anyways thanks  for yours valuable feedback :)
