That was great! Even though the plot twist was a bit predictable after the second night, I really enjoyed the gameplay shift. I loved the visuals, they really had a Game Boy vibe!
I think the investigation could have been a bit more fleshed out by allowing the player to do more things, but for a game jam project, it’s fantastic!

Cool werewolf game! 🐺

GAMEPLAY
This was a fun werewolf story to follow, and the sudden shift from investigation to time trial murder and such was a surprising and enjoyable transition. The controls were simple and worked well. It was engaging to read through the whole story, though perhaps the text could scroll a bit faster and maybe some more actions and content would have been nice. But I understand you can only do so much in this short jam period.

VISUALS
The game had a consistent pixel art style that looked great and had a great ambiance to it.

AUDIO
The music adapted well to the changes in tone, and the sound effects during that final night were fun. The music overall suited the atmosphere and ambiance well.

THEME
The theme was incorporated in a clever way.

All in all, a well-narrated game. Nice job!💪

I finally played the game. Grafics were atmospheric and nice and I like narrative games very much. I think there could be a bit more gameplay (maybe finding the clues in minigames or sth) but it was a very nice interpretation of the theme! Gratz on your submission! :D Well done!

Grate start nice miserly can not find the copp

Yeah, the chicken coop is the only crime scene you have to search for without getting any directions. It's directly to the north.

Really cute artstyle, and fun dialouges, my only critic is that the game doesn't have much going into it, you just walk around and that's it. i would love to see this concept expanded in the future

Before I write my feedback I have one question: Regarding you name, are you German by chance?

Developer (1 edit)

I'm from Austria, and yeah, we speak German.

Ah, okay! Ich komme aus Deutschland :) Habe mich gefreut einen anderen deutschsprachigen DEV hier zu sehen! :)))

After the first night I knew what was happening, but the last level was a nice twist

The art style is nice. But it feels a lot like a walking simulator. Maybe spice the gameplay up with some extra elements.

Developer

Yeah, you're so right. I initially planned to create a more interesting game mechanic for investigating crime scenes, but unfortunately, I ran out of time.

Great idea with cute visuals! I NEED a way to speed up dialogue or see it all at once though haha. Loved the graphics and story progression, but it felt a bit too slow for me to keep waiting for each dialogue to finish. More importantly though, great art and sounds, and the bg music is also nice :)

Developer

Thanks. Now that you mention it, I wanted to speed up the dialogue before I submitted the game, but I forgor. Also thought of making a skip option but I ran out of time.
