Fun little platformer game š
GAMEPLAY
This was a fun little game to play. Eating all those cat & dogsš».
The controls were decent, though, as others have mentioned, adding coyote time for jumping would be a big improvement for example.
VISUALS
The graphics were not bad at all. Maybe not all coherent but it had a nice style overall.
AUDIO
The music and effects were good, and it was nice that it changed throughout the game.
THEME
The theme was definitely incorporated.
All in all, a solid jam entry. Well done and keep it going for your next gamesšŖ!
You created a very atmospheric game there - I like the vibe and I love the font! As others mentioned I strongly suggest you to use coyote jump for the next platformer - I also learned this during a Jam and it really improved the game.
I like that you implemented a story! Music is fitting and okay, art assets are well chosen, but I would suggest keeping the style cohesive (with or without outlines).
Gratz on your very nice submission! :D
The atmosphere of the game is really good, very beautiful and mysterious.
I liked the little story you created, those poor, defenseless creatures… we really are a monster haha.
Thereās one detail that could have been improved during the dialogues: the "ENTER" indication. The first time I saw it, I immediately thought to press the keyboard button to continue, but thatās not what happened. It wasnāt until the second time that I realized we had to place the mouse there and then click, which felt a bit counterintuitive.
Sometimes the rage mode didn't work, I saw this happen to others as well. It might be a bug with the controls, maybe a delay? I also had some difficulty jumping onto platforms. It felt like if I tried to jump too quickly after landing on one, my character couldnāt execute the action.
However, despite these issues, you managed to create a great atmosphere, itās truly beautiful.
With some extra polish, Iām sure the game would be much more enjoyable. Congratulations on the project, and I wish you success and good luck in the jam!

Really short and interesting game. It feels a little hard and unrewarding because you didn't implement 'coyote jump'—maybe look that up for your next platformer, as it would make the game more fun. The rage mechanic also seemed a bit inconsistent, as it didn't always work. I liked it a lot, tho.
I really like the visuals and the atmosphere. It looks like the rage button didn't work when I press left or right, which is a bit unintuitive. I think adding coyote time to the jump (being able to jump right after leaving a platform) would make the controls feel more responsive. But overall I had fun. Keep it up!
cool platformer!
Quite an interesting idea of turning into a zombie to satisfy your hunger, which I like.
The game was nice (altough I feel bad for the cats and dogs), but it was kinda problematic to platform through it, mostly due to the jump and rage buttons, which didn't always work. I liked how the music got serious when you become a zombie! It's a cool touch.
Thanks for playing. Did you try the pc version ? The web version stutters quite a bit . So the jump sometimes misses, the rage is on a 2 second timer and the feedback is when the players eyes turn red. I think that I should have made that a bit more Obvious. or have better visual or audio feedback when the rage was ready. The music change hits me every time too !
Nice looking game, sadly sometimes the jump button does registrates the press. So I just fall down.
Nice platforming!! I like the use of checkpoints, I would just suggest making them a bit more frequent (maybe on every screen change) for easy playing and rating :-) The art and UI are great! The vibrating skulls in the environment are cool. I like having left click for jumps and how the music/sounds all come in at the rage point.
thanks for playing. that is a great suggestion, there was a lot going on as I made the game I think that i really need to spend some time before i start making the game for planning. instead I just jump in and start making the game as I go along. I wanted to have back tracking and being able to go back to areas that were harder before while adding new challenges. the rage music was added i hour before the dead line. and I too was amazed at the difference that it made. I appreciate you taking the time to give feed back.
