Nice little maze game!

The idea of switching is fun. However, I was able to switch and end up inside walls without any consequences. Adding a penalty, like losing a life, could make it more exciting and challenging. The movement on my screen was a bit stuttery—not sure what caused that.

Adding some background music would enhance the experience, as the current switch sound effect was a bit too prominent.

The theme was incorporated, and the palette was used.

Keep it up in your future games and keep going! 😊

Nice simple and short game I played the whole thing. It nice to move faster.

Cool use of the theme. Definitely needs some music. The movement of the player almost felt slow, but that might have only stood out because I was focused on the lack of music.

Interesting proof of concept. The graphics reminded me of an Atari 2600 game. You could probably get it to run on one if the instructions aren't in-game. Funny sound effects too. They wouldn't sound out of place in a Hanna-Barbera cartoon.

Unfortunately, the movement speed is too slow, the collisions are a bit wonky (I had to entre fullscreen to get past the first screen) and its main appeal is that it appeals to the jam's theme. You did good work programming this, and I could see it being a puzzle portion of a full-fledged game.

Thank you for the feedback! I made this game a day before the submissions ended so it was rushed. im going to make a full version of the game soon.

Good use of the theme! However, it ends right after introducing a mechanic. I would love to see more puzzles with misdirections and similar elements. Still, very good job.

The whole purpose of the game was to fit in the theme and i am going to make a full version of the game soon

thank you for the feedback btw!

Good concept, it has potential for some interesting challenges. The movement speed could be increased, and perhaps some more challenge could be added with having multiple paths and a gameover if the player is inside a wall when the maze is switched, which would mean they would have to keep track of the layout of the other maze before switching. Some more mechanics and polish and it could be a great puzzle game.

Great job on creating your game in Scratch! It has been a while since I used it, and is more for learning to create games more than anything. It's awesome to see you experimenting with new ideas. The mechanic of pressing a button to reveal doors is a unique twist, though the game could feel more like a maze if there were multiple paths to choose from or hidden areas to explore. Perhaps you could add more levels with different layouts, obstacles, or enemies to make it more challenging. You could also introduce a time limit or a scoring system to increase excitement.

Keep up the great work and keep experimenting with new mechanics—every idea is a good idea! With time and practice, you'll continue to improve and create even more fun games. Keep it up!

TYSM for the feedback! im going to add a full version of the game soon but scratch's design border makes the game shorter but i will try

short but fits well in the theme. It has potential for some nice puzzles but to be honest this version was straightforward move till you cant move and switch view rinse and repeat. I saw you said in your description in probably wont win, but don't see it like that you already won by completing a game in the allotted time.

Only advice i can give you on this entry is try to make it feel more polished, i notices that some of the boxes did not really align well making it feel rushed. If you use simple shapes thigs like that jump out at you.

well done
