A truly great level design! I really enjoyed how the progression flows—it’s so natural, fun, and intuitive.
The mechanics were very well implemented, allowing us to get the hang of it quickly without needing excessive text—just through our own experience and learning. Great job!
The sounds and audio effects were also excellently done, blending perfectly with the rest of the game’s aesthetic. Despite the simple art style, everything fit together seamlessly.
The puzzles were well-crafted, fun, and challenging. However, I felt the progression was slightly inconsistent at times, with some later levels being easier than earlier ones.
Another point I think deserves attention is the explanation of how the second character works. While I liked the mechanic, I feel it could be explained better before it becomes frequently used, helping the player feel more familiar with it.
I really enjoyed playing—it was a satisfying challenge to complete. Congratulations on the project, and good luck in the jam!
Thank you for the detailed feedback. I definitely feel the same. I will rearrange the puzzles to fit better after the jam is over, for sure.
I used to play a lot of Sokoban back in the day, and this brought back that nostalgic feeling—especially when, after 10 failed attempts, you finally figure out the correct moves!
The levels are very well designed and put together, with a steady difficulty progression and new elements to challenge your thinking. Graphically, it’s simple pixel art, but very effective and with its own unique style. The music fits perfectly with that style, and the sound effects match nicely. After a while the music maybe somewhat repetitive, but not annoying or so.
The theme was incorporated, and the color palette was used well. The controls work smoothly, the undo move feature is fantastic and life saver 😊, and restarting is quick and seamless.
All in all, a very solid and enjoyable jam entry that successfully brings this classic back to life—great job! 😊
Really cool little sokoban game, well thought out puzzles!
Loved it. Really nice puzzle game with a lot of potential. Very intuitive and fun to play!
Nice game.
Nice polished soboken game. Art and level design was really professional and the music really relaxing. It was really fun to fiddle around with, though I was a little confused trying to figure what the second character could do and even once I had a feeling of what it could do, it still felt random as to whether or not it could move the box.
Nice puzzle game, very well thought out. Not to hard not to easy. Very fun to play
The puzzles were really well thought-out! I had so much trouble near the end until I realized I could just push the gem into a different position. The perspectives got the job done for the theme, and you adhered to the palette very well. Interesting designs.
The audio element was also polished more than I expected. You kept the visuals very simple, but it paid off in making sure the rest of the game was polished. Sometimes, less really is more. A tutorial or more in-depth description might be necessary. Also maybe add one final hard level, since 19 is an interesting spot to leave things on.
This was an amazing experience! The mechanic is great, and the level design is so clever! I would have loved to see some animations, effects or a background. But given the time constraint this is a clever masterpiece!
WOW WOW WOW easy this is a masterpiece I haven't played such interesting and creative puzzles for a long time beautiful pixel graphics interesting use of the game jam theme and very interesting puzzles this is just superb I didn't even notice how time passed while I was playing all these levels several of them really made me sweat if I could rate I would rate this game 10 out of 5
Great Game! it does introduce the theme a bit late and it was confusing without the mouse cursor honesty tho, continue making great gems like this!
I love this kind of puzzles and switching between two characters adds some extra fun!
Currently stuck on level 15, but I'll give it another try later =D
I **LOVE** this type of game, it just makes all the right parts of my brain tingle. Simple, elegant and challenging. Smashing job with this one! What would I change? Not a single thing, except maybe make a sequel.
Dude these puzzles were out of this world. It bridged simplicity and challenge just at the right sweet spot for me, and got me thinking "okay now why did the developer give me space to move here?" Made it through the whole game and I have absolutely no complaints gameplay wise, I took a good minute finishing the game but it was worth frying my brain to see the ending. The music is a lil repetitive, but I found it fitting for this sort of game. Brain teaser/10
I think you might be suffering from success with your puzzles here - they're probably some of the best in the game jam, but it seems they may be difficult for people to wrap their heads around (especially if they're trying to look at a lot of games)
People that they do click with will love this though, great game
i dont I understand
Is there a specific thing you need help with?
I think I'm missing something? Got stuck on the 4th level lmao. But realizing the other character pulls boxes was a great moment, cool twist on a block puzzle game
Very well designed, learning you can push gems with boxes was one of those 'aha' moments that make puzzle games special. I would have liked more than 20 levels, but that's more than enough for a jam game. I don't have much to say, other than good job!
Really liked this kind of games!! well done! liked the mechanics!
