Overall: Very ambitious to take on a Soulslike in full 3D! It was a little laggy on my laptop and I didn't beat Ogre David, but I still respect the effort put into this entry.

Gameplay: Haven't played Dark Souls or many soulslikes so I was a little unfamiliar. Camera movement felt odd to me and the lag didn't help.

Music: Fitting tunes for the base of the mountain and the Ogre David fight. Also props to the sound design with David's big meaty thwacks and Unhinged's voice acting.

Story: A little light. Go up the mountain and slay the ogre.

Graphics: This is where the game shines. It's not often we get a Harold Jam game in full 3D! The custom Harold model looked very convincing.

Comedy: Barely any, but not a bad thing.

Overall: Achievement Get! [This is Dark Souls]

Gameplay: Controls are a little weird, so an in-game tutorial would have been nice, rather than just sticking it to the download page.  Also not sure about input buffering - I've accidentally double-dodged more times than I was expecting to.  Otherwise pretty good.

Music: Fit for purpose

Story: Textbook Harold Jam.

Graphics: Could use some work, but it's not bad for the time crunch of a jam.

Comedy: I laughed when I saw the death screen was "Git Gud" instead of "You Died".

Additional: It felt weird hearing my voice played back to me.  Glad to see I was good enough as the voice of Harold to not need a second set of takes.

Overall: I love the idea of this game. My computer was able to run it alright after I updated a few things.
Game Play: The controls for me were confusing, and very unresponsive. This needed a tutorial, even a quick, in your face, show of buttons/actions, would have been fantastic.
Music: Was alright.. it fit the environment. Felt a little harsh though.
Story: Very jammy.
Graphics. Definitely not RTP! I liked the look of everything.
Comedy: I'm sure if any one saw me trying to play this they would have laughed.
I've never played dark souls, so all I can compare this too is Minecraft for it's 3D environmental feel, and the game was yes, 3D and had multiple directions!

A bit clunky, but still enjoyable for what it was.

A little janky with the controls, but really captured the dark souls vibe when harold is dodge rolling away from david's orgre slam then smashing him with a giant club.

(for anyone having difficulty, up your attack at the "bonfire" and you should be ok)
I thought I was going to hate it because of how bad the controls felt... But the respawn is quick, you don't lose your EXP on death, and you can actually level strength to the point you can "out-jank the jank", so I ended up having some fun for the brief time the game lasted. The final battle was very doable, I only died twice but from me trying to parry like a dumbass, I should just attack and roll.

I actually find this one of the funniest games this jam, the jank controls combine with the strange animations, absolutely massive weapons Harold can hold, the absurdity of whacking goblins out in one hit by the end, the death messages... ngl it didn't have any jokes but I was smiling throughout the back-end of the game.

(also shoutout to the very decent Harold 3D model, he's really cute)

Looks like I won't be able to rate this one. My potato cannot run this game (or most games made with unreal).  Maybe I could rate if I watch someone stream the game.

Anyway, good luck with the jam!

Same issue for me unfortunately (though I can generally play older, Unreal 3, stuff)

Good attempt over all. First off high marks for the models and for the world textures. I scored this high in graphics.

Story was a little not there but thats how From Soft do it right, all the lore is in the items.

Gameplay was janky but somewhat fun. The lock on system really stuggled with angle and some of the animations had janky/jerky movement (like the roll). Other than that default move speed was too slow and dash ate too much stamina. That said combat itself was grand and I enjoyed it. Just needs a little polish.

Music: Not alot of it but it was fine. Comedy: Simiilar to music

All in, I’d say its a solid entry and a good start to a potential game. As a fellow UE user, good stuff.

This was a somewhat odd entry but I praise the absurdity!

My computer struggled to run it, so I didn't play for very long, but I was able to appreciate the very nice 3D models as well as the somewhat jank controls. This is certainly one of the most ambitious entries I've seen in a Harold Jam!

Allow me a moment to be honest and sincere: this was an experience, a triumph, and one of the best souls games to have come out since Dark Souls II (the undisputed king of the genre).
