Really Love the Mechanic of Page switching. It looks REALLY cool from what we got currently and im excited of what it will become. Will definetly come back once its finished!

Developer

Thank you for playing! Hopefully you enjoy the post-jam version!

I am very intrigued to see the post-jam version! I'm excited to see what the page mechanic would do, like maybe shifting the layouts of rooms? We will see!  All the implemented features are working fine, maybe some additional mechanics would help depending on how much platforming is involved.

The base frame of the game is there! I am excited to see it expanded upon :D

You鈥檝e got the idea correct, a few more things other than that but it鈥檚 the concept we were intending to go for. We鈥檒l consider the possibility of a few more mechanics too. Thank you for showing interest in the post-jam version, hopefully it live up to the potential.

I love the environment ya'll have set with the music and the artwork! I think the platforming mechanism is pretty straightforward too, and I can see where you want to go with it -- great for a first start, hoping you'll implement novel mechanics on the potential that's here to make it spicy fresh. I'm also a fan of the dialogue window, though the text is a touch hard to read with that font color.

Just wish it had more gameplay substance, but I understand the time constraint! Looking forward to the post-jam updates, this could be born into a fully-fledged little indie game 馃槍

Thank you for trying the build! It was unfortunate we couldn鈥檛 get much in the time constraints but now that we no longer have a deadline, we should be able to get the post-jam version closer to our original plans with the actual interesting gameplay parts. I don鈥檛 think we鈥檒l be going into a full game with this, partly cause of future availability of the team, but definitely will get up to the what the jam release should have been.

We鈥檒l also take the feedback on the font into account, thank you for that!

  • Art is pretty. Characters and tiles all look great.
  • UI is also quite pretty and creative. It鈥檚 like a better looking version of the UI in my game.
  • Not sure what the mechanics will be just yet, but just looking at the game, it looks like you鈥檝e got some interesting ideas.

I鈥檓 hoping to be back once you release a more complete version of the game. The art and concepts feel like there is a lot more that can be explored here. I see potential!
(Don't feel too pressured though)

Developer

Thank you for giving the game a try! I鈥檓 glad you have interest in a more complete version, we hope we can live up to the potential (I promise we don鈥檛 feel any pressure).

Looks really good with what's here so far! From the synopsis you've provided on the game page, it seems you can have something like a Kingdom Heart style of storytelling.
Excited to see more in the future, all the best!

Thank you for giving the game a try! The game won鈥檛 have any weird chronological complexities, for the record, but that is a good idea I didn鈥檛 think about with the concept. Hopefully you give the completed version a play as well!

Yea maybe not the timeline spaghetti part, but on the "jumping into each unique stories and fix things".
Would be really cool if each stories are like holomember's lore debut (but not like the original where they ended up in hololive), and Shiori have to jump in and fix them.

Developer(+1)

We probably won鈥檛 get to the point of expanding on the concept too much, but the level we鈥檒l have is already something similar to your idea, so we hope you鈥檒l enjoy it.

So cool!! Cant do much.

Art is nice, and holding to jump more is also nice.

Music is great though the main menu one scared me!

Keep working on it!

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you for giving the game a try, glad you enjoyed the art and music! Sorry again that there鈥檚 not much to do yet but we hope you鈥檒l give it another play when it鈥檚 complete!

Also, sorry to scare you with the menu theme, was it because it was too loud or another reason? If it鈥檚 volume issues then let us know and we will adjust it for the post-jam version.
