Definetly an Addicting Game where I'm bad at LOL Looks Really nice and everythings working as intended. As others said though it is hard later on to distinguish the different Arms.

Thanks for playing!

WOW. Now this is a great jam game. This game is so addicting, the visuals look awesome, the Tsunomaki Janken song fits the gameplay, AND the loop of the gameplay fits the Chaos theme so well because you are challenged to adapt onto the spot to follow Miko or Aki's janken conditions after being comfortable with Watame's rules. The leaderboard helps add on to repetitiveness, as if you are someone who is competitive you would want to continue trying again and again!

The ONLY nitpick I had was that it was kinda hard to tell the hands of Miko, Watame and Aki when they are in cue because all of them have a lot of white as their base color, so my brain will get jumbled up with them (I tended messing up Miko and Watame a lot), but honestly, that adds to the Chaos so I think it is completely fine!

This is such an awesome entry.  Simple, repetitive, and fun. This will be an entry I want to keep in mind when scoping out a game jam game, as I think this is a great example. Really phenomenal!

Thank you for your feedback! Definitely agree on visual clarity for the hands, did try to make it a little clearer by redrawing hands of each character and also shifting the skin tone a little, but I'm thinking of maybe adding a colored outline or such.

Such a fun idea and I started getting a little addicted to it for a bit lol. The presentation is very nice and playing the game to the beat of the music make its very satisfying. The art is very well done and to build upon a game like rock paper scissors and make it so entertaining is a show of your skill as a developer. Very well done!

Thank you! XD
Love your team's submission as well!

I love the music and I never thought a janken type game could feel addicting. But the wave-time constraint makes it really fun! Not to mention adding a leader board to appeal to people wanting to get a competitive fix is a pretty good idea!
The game also looks really good and is presented very well.
I enjoyed this a lot!

Thank you! Glad you liked it!
Love your team's submission as well!

It's a mind-mending challenge. My head hurts from getting the Right hand with the correct holo hands.

XD
Thanks for playing on stream! Your feedbacks are really helpful!

A nice fun game, I wasn’t the best at it but I liked the simplicity and overall concept of playing off tried-and-true RPS formula.

Parroting the previous comment, I did think it was sometimes a bit hard to read the current hand some times with how similar it looks to the hands in the back. I think darkening the queued hands or just removing them would have kept the challenge while making it a little more readable.

That said though, I still enjoyed it!

Thank you for your feedback! There are actually gimmicks further into the game which requires showing at least 1 hand before (somewhere after 70), but point taken! Maybe not removing them completely, but I can definitely reduce the number to reduce the clutter and make upcoming hands shaded darker.

Shows how far I got, but yeah those would be nice changes to make.

Really well done in every way! The only thing I can think to critique is visual clarity. Having 5 upcoming hands, all largely white, displayed so close to each other, makes understanding what's going on at a glance quite difficult. I think it would still be plenty challenging even if you made each gesture and rule set more visually apparent, such as by displaying fewer upcoming hands, spacing them further apart, and/or darkening them slightly as you move towards the back. Also, unless there is a specific reason as to why you picked Miko and Aki (maybe I'm missing the reference here?), I'd pick holomems with more contrasting color schemes for the other two hands. Still, A+!

Thanks for playing! Very good points you've made! Absolutely agree that visual indicators should be clearer and should space out more to reduce clutter.
As for choosing Miko and Aki, it was mainly because they are the members that are the most involved (from my knowledge) with tsunomaki janken during that era.
For Aki, Watame would sometimes have Mukirose take over her Janken segment. Her segment would usually involve a "pose", and any hand viewers play would be a losing hand (this couldnt be implemented for obvious reason, so I went with the compromise of "posing with her")

As for Miko, her livestream would usually overlap with Watame's show during that time. Whenever it happens, she would livestream her "reaction" to it, and would play along during the Janken segment. Running joke is on her lose rate on these live, which is amazing honestly looking back.

Did try to make it more visually obvious by having a somewhat different skin tone (Miko's is darker than Watame's) and a differently drawn hand pose for each character. Maybe they could also have a striking colored outline to increase the visual clarity.
Thanks for your valuable feedback!

Very well polished! Very well scoped. I think it’s one of those cases where the game is really as good as I can imagine this concept will ever need to be. It’s not missing anything and adding anything to the game would be fluff.

Not too much else to say. The art is pretty and music fits well.

The addition of a score server is extra cool and adds something special. (even though I suck)

Developer

Thank you! Though I did personally felt that I aimed a little too low content-wise for this jam, especially after the 1 week time extension given from previous jams. 😅

I'm too slow for this but it is quite fun.
Great artwork and music!

Really nice game. It took me a while to figure out why I always lost so early until I noticed there are 3 different rules. Makes it really challenging. A simple but very fun game!

Developer

Thank you!

Having to juggle the 3 rules at the same time is very chaotic and melts my brain after a certain point lol.  I'm not used to Aki's scissors hand with the thumb out, so I sometimes mistake it for paper if I'm too fast.  Otherwise, super fun and addicting!

Developer

Thank you! I'm contemplating to increase the timer actually, since it may be a little too hard atm. 43 is extremely impressive considering I've only managed 50 throughout my whole week of testing XD
