  • Really well executed, I like how HYPLAY was implemented without much friction and allows you to play almost uninterrupted. It would have been fun to include a twist to make it different than the original but really well made overall.
  • Simple yet effective! Classic game but polished. The flow to return to playing is really effective—it makes you instantly want to challenge your old score.
  • A pretty standard take on the theme, and a re-imagination of a classic - it's not *novel* but it absolutely does not need to be. The execution here is damn near flawless, I can't really complain about anything! Ordinarily I'd complain about randomness with leaderboards, but this wouldn't work without. It's a test of your reactions, and I enjoyed every minute with it. I have no complaints with this one!

How does your game relate to the theme?
You only get one shot to cross as far as you can before dying

I loved the game. It's a very addictive game, I was very impressed with how focused we were on the game. The art in the game is very beautiful. The game is very balanced, not too easy and not too difficult.

My name on the Leaderboard is "FaceOfGod". I'm still in the top 10 lol

Very fun and addictive, art is very good, so is sound design.
I just wished it had a little twist that differs from the base game. Also, since the scrolling can't kill you, it's very easy to score

a nice and simple frogger. The ambience is nice and the controls feel good. Not much else to say tbh

Great job, really fun game, I liked the movement mechanic and animations. Also sounds are all good too.

While one might think that recreating games is no big deal, recreating games that capture the essence of the original game is a different story, this game captures the feeling perfectly well. I found myself in a rhythm after a while  which again can only happen if things like controls, anims, the AI, no bugs etc all work in synergy. I do wish some twist was there that would have added on top of the core mechanic.

Like classic frogger, the further you get before dying the less likely you are to want to beat your score because you have to spend all that time getting back to where you died.

It was fun for a few rounds and I managed to get 4th on the leaderboard, but at the end of the day it’s just a frogger clone. Would have been cool to see something new but I get how jam deadlines can creep up and force you to change plans due to unforeseen circumstances.
