Nice game! The artstyle looks pretty cool!

I think it could use some music though, it lacks it

Really cool entry, functional and fun! Love that you made randomly generated rooms.
The difficulty was well balanced, you just need to be moving before the enemies spawn.

thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the biggest feedback is not enjoying enemies popping up but hearing about the generations is awesome, thats probably my proudest part of this game.

Pretty nice game, but does boosters really have affects to you?

Developer

thank you! And yes they are, this was a balancing issue, if you look at the health bar when picking up the correct boosts you’ll notice a “health drop” which is actually just the total expanding you still have the same health, they are working just very very low for balancing. I wanted to add more for sure and looking back would’ve made it a bit more noticeable!

Solid entry, well done :)

Developer

thank you!

This was alright. I liked the crisp artstyle and the song, and making a randomized level in a short time is impressive. I didn't like how the enemies just pop up in the room after you've already entered and ambush you, it felt kinda cheap to keep getting hit by enemies that I couldn't know where they'd appear. It would also be nice to have a little more variety than it always just being 2 guys, though with 3 guys we might not have enough time to take them out. Maybe another enemy with less health? Couldn't beat it, best I did was 7 rooms remaining. This was pretty good all out, I think the presentation is its strongest suit.

Developer

Thank you for the strong feedback! Some of these things I wasn’t even thinking about when making the game, but now that I’m getting this feedback, playing it again I feel the same way. I’m going to be moving forward with these things in mind.

Fun top-down shooter! The theme is integrated very nicely and the gameplay feels nice. The art also fits very well! Great job!

Developer

thank you so much!

Great game top-down shooter, I enjoyed playing, also the sound combined pretty well with the game, great job!! :)

Developer

Thank you! When I was doing the art it felt retro like so I wanted to make sure the audio felt the same way!

Cool game with some nice art. Some differences between the rooms or more enemies would have been nice but for a game jam game this is definitely enough :D

Developer

thank you! Variety definitely would have helped this game a lot.

Great concept! Nice art too.

Developer

thank you!

What a interesting concept!

But I see a problem with the enemies, they shoots you the soon they spawn without a moment to breath.

Other then that pretty good!

Developer

thank you! And yea a small delay and maybe some markers before they popped up would help that a lot.

Nice job with the game! I loved the concept and the exploration aspect. Also enjoyed how stress-inducing each room becomes once the gates close. Good game overall.

I wish in the future you could add more enemies with different behaviors and make the current enemies not attack immediately. I found myself getting shot at least once each time i got spawned in a new room. It wasn't a problem tho since they were dropping health boosts.

Nice little game! Noticed that bullet speed depends on how far the mouse is from player, possibly forgot to normalize some vectors.

Hey, that was a fun game, i had a great time playing it !

Loved the gameplay, even if the enemies are too much unpredictable x)

I noticed the bullet speed changed depending on how far my cursor was, this is probably because you didn't use a normalized vector for the aiming, so try doing so next time ;)

Well, that was stressful and intense but quite cool ! Good job !
