Such an amazing game! I'm surprised you pulled this off in 3 days. The music is an absolute bop, the game looks really nice and its straight fun to play. I seriously can't say anything bad about it. Great Job! :)

THIS IS WHAT I LOVE! phenomonal level design, amazing mechanics, the movement feels so nice! The one thing that got to me is at a certain point theres alot of specific jumps that have to be made and then place an angel and if you dont hit on the second way through you have to completely restart with no check point, otherwise this one is my favorite!

This one's fun, most of the mechanics are executed well, the only one that I didn't like was the suicide mechanic, while using your soul as a platform is great, having to time the explosion so you can properly make a platforming is annoying because it really just boils down to waiting 2.5 seconds and then doing something and that gets boring/annoying quickly. everything else is good though, the art, the enemies, the music, good stuff here

We will make sure that the updated version will improve that aspect for sure! We are actually considering reworking the exploding feature entirely while still keeping the "Double jump" feel it provides, and we hope that the rework will improve it, and most importantly address this issue.
great idea and awesome game! only problem i had was wating for my angel to go to the place, i know it was just 3 seconds but still, and waiting for the robots with pickaxes as well, since they camped the place hahaha, maybe have them reset their spot when you die?
Really nicely polished game well done, very good platforming feel and I tell you spend a lot of time crafting the mechanics and levels, as they have a nice flow almost rhythm to it.
My nitpicks would probably be to add a jump buffer so there is a second or less after leave an platform you can still jump. I think that would improve the overall feel.
Wow, this is really well executed! The visual design is amazing and the feel of controlling the character is super solid.
I really liked the idea for the main mechanic and I think it fits well with the theme. Unfortunately I'm not very good with platformers so I spent a lot of time wait for 2.5 seconds and then totally failing my jump timing :)

Well. First of all: I couldn’t put it down. The core mechanic is freaking awesome, even though at first I was skeptical about it. You’ve got some serious level design skills, and I really, REALLY appreciate the level of mercy shown, in terms of the very well placed and ample checkpoints. I’m not great at precision platformers (even though I like them) and playing Neon Rush was 95% satisfaction with only about 5% frustration due to the great level design.
But pretty please: get some new/better music for this gem. Now I have Katy Perry’s Hot’n’Cold stuck in my head.

In regards to the music, i DIED when i read this lol. "Now I have Katy Perry’s Hot’n’Cold stuck in my head." you are not alone in this hahaha nice catch. I decided to make some music, and after the first track i was out of ideas so i decided to try making something similar to hot'n'cold. I think it shows but music clearly isn't my strength lol.
great achievement on such a short time-line, particularly in the level design department and concept of using your deaths to progress through. The game calls upon a lot of familiar early platformer puzzles and bundles it up with into a unique and highly enjoyable, replayable product. Bonus points for the "dark mischief" feel to the game in art and audio, really helps with the feeling of puzzle-solving but simple enough to let you concentrate on the solutions. Really enjoyed myself
