Big fan of the straightforward mechanics and the art style. Great work, especially for your first game!

I'm not very good at precision platformers so I wasn't able to get very far. Dig the art style and the music. Falling felt a little slow and the wall jumps felt a little sticky, but again I'm not good at these kinds of games so that might just be me. Maybe move the kill plane up a little bit, when you fall off screen it waits for a second before you die. Good job overall.
I liked this one! The art is very cool, and the atmosphere is great! The movement was also fun and challenging which I like. Good job!
I love the simple art you went with this one! some cool mechanics happening I just wish there was some sort of feed back from the game what was happening like a possible countdown for disappearing blocks and more of a tutorial in-game on how to play, However solid movement for this kind of game, gives me super meat boy vibes!
While I didn't get all too far in this game I did enjoy what I played, it provided me a tough but fair challenge, the controls felt pretty nice, dashing in all 8 directions felt smooth up into the end where it kinds ends abruptly but I can handle it, the backgrounds look good, the sound effects were distinct with the info they gave, the music is quite a bit droning but I rather have something rather then nothing. all and all it ain't bad at all!
cool first game, keep on going!
feedback: i feel like after dashing you get like heavy gravity for a fraction of a second
Not a bad game! Especially for your first game, this is pretty awesome. The levels were a little difficult, but that's what makes it fun. Great work :)
cool but difficult game...maybe add checkpoints to make it a bit easier
Good game, it has good graphics and music it creates great atmosphere at this game, good job
It's nice that this was your first game, since it's also pretty nice! This jam was actually also my first ever jam and my first ever game! So, we both have something in common :))
Cool platformer game, I like the art and game play is fun even though it gets really difficult early on. Here are some thoughts I had when playing..
- The fall seems somewhat slow, which also makes falling to your death take a long time
- Using mouse click for dash when everything else is keyboard feels out of place
I finished a few levels then I got to level where it seemed impossible (at least to me) to finish the level as it required me to jump higher than spikes in my way, which I had no clue how to do. I'll post a pic on your forum post.
About the resolution, it's better to set the initial resolution to something like 1280x720 (check my game) instead of 1920x1080 or so and allow the players to maximize the game instead.
Anyways, good job for such short game jam 👍
Thanks for the feedback!
You can actually use K to dash if you don’t wanna use the left mouse!
Yeah, the fall is a bit slow. I probably could’ve increased the max fall speed, but then the dash would feel terrible to control, so it was a rock and a hard place situation, faster falling or better dash?
I was gonna have the resolution be normal, but I overlooked it too late and made the rooms too big for the standard resolution so I had to expand it (Godot Fullscreen Settings are absolutely weird, honestly.)
Good game! The game is a little difficult and I didn't make it very far, but I still enjoyed it! Good job!
You were able to make a really cool game!
The game was quite difficult, but very unusual.
For a first game, it's super cool!
GREAT JOB!
I'm super bad playing this kind of games so I couldn't get too far haha
But I really enjoyed it
