You are under time pressure and you do things that require *pressure*, like Hydraulic Press or keeping Furnace Pressure at a certain level.

A very addictive fun game. Nice work on the tutorial, love the setting and everything about it.
I think I found a bug in the tutorial you can just drop one iron ingot and the truck will leave without getting 2, but later I can't recreate it. Maybe I do accidentally push an ingot in without noticing.
The BGMs is cool, but not sure if it's dynamic or fixed track, there have multiple time when the BGM change the phase, I thought that I got not time, but end up with still a minute or two, the game is actually some how relaxing when you in the phase, so the pressuring music when you still have a minute feel somehow not in tune with actual emotion.
Thanks! Music is just 5 songs playing randomly so you don't really feel the time pressure. I think increasing the music speed the less time you have would be a good idea to add ;)
Great game! A solid and fun submission to the jam, had a blast playing it! The only small issues I found (and this is more of a suggestion for the future as I highly recommend you to keep developing Over Engineered!) is that the bin would sometimes swallow items as I was running past them and that it took me a while to get used to the scenario layout, having it a little smaller or a mini map would be interesting. But really, great work, certainly one of (if not the) best games of the jam.
Agreed with everything! I think level 2 is best in terms of size, you have everything close to one another.
This is a really great game. I love the music and the art!! but personally the Q and E is so hard for me to click because its near the WASD( maybe because I sucks at playing game :P).
sometimes, when i hold things and run through the end of conveyor(idk what is that), it destroyed my things, and the map is too big for no reason(I thought i missed something so I ran around 1 time).
Also, sometimes when I hold a thing , go near the truck, press space and e constantly, it will count that I put in there 2 things.
The end of the conveyor is just a trash can, and I agree that's annoying that it destroys your items. The map is too big in level 1 and maybe 4, I think levels 2 and 3 are ok in size. And the truck bug, I didn't know about it before releasing.
Thanks for playing and for your feedback!
Great work, little tips for the future tho:
-Bug when holding object and running over a conveyor end. It destroys it from the players hand, very annoying. You could have easily solved that by disabling the collider once the player carries it for instance.
-Level design scale seems off, shelves are enormous for instance.
-Gameplay feels slow, purely because of movement its just constant walking back and forward, even with speed boost this is not fun.
Shelves are supposed to be like big warehouse ones. I agree with destroying objects. What I'd do about slow gameplay is maybe make levels shorter and more interesting? idk, it would require proper balance because some people find the game easy and others are struggling. Thanks for your feedback!
Amazing game, really nice visuals. No bad comments other than that I couldn't grasp the space bar to pick up and F to drop, I kept getting muddled, but that could just be me! Well done!
Good game. I love the art and style. The concept is also really good! One thing I found and 100% didn't exploit (trust me) was that you could glitch out how much iron is in the truck. If you hold the iron and then spin around really fast then it can glitch out and count as 2 iron. Other than that a solid game and highly enjoyable. If you added more furnaces and steps, it would be a really good multiplayer game.
I actually didn't know about this exploit! Thanks for playing! I agree that multiplayer would be great :)
This game is so fun! The controls are intuitive and the gameplay is fast-paced and addicting lol. All round a really good game!
The game is really fun and really fits the theme! I found two bugs where sometimes I need to put two in the smelter to make iron, but it only takes one, and some of my iron in the truck glitches and doesn't hit the collision box. The movement is a bit annoying as it kind of is like in a grid. Anyways the game is really fun! All the levels are good and the dash feels nice! Great job!
Going for 3d when you have 3 days, well, brave! I am surprised by how all of this actually works, and visuals are really good! Concept is also interesting: you have to keep your eye on that furnace thing, but you can't just throw a lot from the beginning, so you have to fill it a bit from time to time. And with that, and with the timer, I really felt the pressure, so the theme is fulfilled. Music is really good, it kinda sets the rhythm for the game. The only problem is that, well, you probably dont think so because you made it and you tested it all multiple times, but for a random player (aka me) it's all a bit too hard. I had real struggles with the first level. But still, you did great, I had a lot of fun
It's tough to balance things in such a short time and with no playtesters, but I tried my best ;) I just uploaded a full gameplay video if you want to check out all levels! The last one was very intense even for me lol
Cute game. Just lack the sounds.
There are many sounds and music, haven't you heard them?
My bad. I turned down my earphone volume by accident, late to realize. I updated the audio rating. Thanks for letting me know.
No problem
Loved it! Really fun to play and engaging. The Overcooked vibe is great and it's perfectly related to the theme. I just had a hard time getting to read the factories layouts at first and the garbage bins sometimes would just eat up some of the items, but really solid gameplay nevertheless. Congrats!
