How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
The amount of health of the player is directly linked to the height of the jumps and the speed of the character. The rose is an object which heals the player.

I am surprised, this is the first game where roses don't actually hurt you, but do the opposite, and yet i don't want them to heal me. I love the change in my mentality for this game. The platforming is quite good, having to use to bleeding to improve my jumps but also sacrifice speed. The game loop is really good! well done.
It is pretty nice!
My favorite game so far, good job!! Interesting idea and implementation, everything is on top
Good approach to the challenge, I liked it :)
This game was so fun, I only wish that your health could be affected by more things, like things that don't instantly kill you.
The variable jump height reminded me of Jump King in a way, and I could see this game becoming a staple of frustrating games like that if expanded upon.
You definitely have a nice prototype here that could be taken further. Good implementation of the sacrificing theme. I don't really get the point of the red roses as you heal on double jump anyway, seems like an extra thing doing the same mechanic, maybe I misunderstood. Good work regardless!
The principle behind red roses is that they're obstacles. You can't double jump while you're walking on a rose because it heals you constantly. I haven't really succeeded in making levels that exploit this because, as you said, I haven't pushed the concept far enough. Thanks !
Thought this was a really cool take on the theme and special object, and I also like how the game was like a puzzle platformer in the sense that you had to manage how much you bled to traverse the obstacles. One thing that I could I guess critique is that the bleeding kind of slowed down the gameplay a bit because you had to stop moving and wait for a bit. Overall, solid game and I had a lot of fun playing :)
Although it may be counter-intuitive, the slow gameplay is deliberate. I know it may turn some players off, but I wanted to really feel the slowness of the character as they loses health. Maybe I could have balanced it better though. Initially, you could bleed while moving, but I found that it ruined the game a little, as all you had to do was hold down the mouse button. Thanks for the feedback !
