I thought your overall aesthetic for the game was super cute, and I dig the concept of building a nest as it perfectly plays into "some assembly required". Great stuff and a super cute concept! Felt good to swoop down and catch a bunch of speed and explore the scene. 🕊
make an In-game tutorial and volume control and ship it! very enjoyable I love the concept.
Thanks for playing! I found that despite putting on the Itch page everything a player should need to know and putting a message on the title screen to say read it, people mostly didn't (which I totally get, I don't either), so with more time, I absolutely would have added more with assisting the player. The volume level has been reduced as a quick fix but yes, a settings menu with more time would have been awesome.
super calm and fun game. love the feel of it and it was a really enjoyable experience. Would be cool to have a little movement in the scenery and more things to do if you ever decided to take it further, however I really enjoyed it thanks so much!
Thanks Marcus, glad you liked it!
What a nice game, great idea and very well put together, the eagle flys very nicely. Love the trails. Nice and easy to see where the parts are as well. Nice look and feel as well. Would like to see the nest bits being held in the feet :)
Thanks! Great idea about the feet and I can fix that today since it's only a game object for the transform. I also noticed that when carrying nest pieces, they rotate the same as the ground and not the bird!
Enjoyed this one! Nice use of the theme :) Great work BitGamey :)
Love it, nice atmosphere and a relaxing jam game. Well Done
Great game! Would have been nice with more controls like hover or something. I kept missing some parts for the nest trying to hit them. Lots of fun!
very fun game about a starving hawk.
I want to see some audio options next time :) (very loud game)
Ah this was really nice! Maybe could have been nice to set timer and scoreboard for that. But overall really nice idea and very well build.
Nice, silly fun :D I liked it a lot. Was just floating about then realised I had to eat and drink and started panicking. Immediately found myself strategising on where to fly to get the resource before flying to get the nest item. Nicely executed!
Fun game. I liked flying around like that. I feel like all the water was lumped in one place and some resources like food was so far away that the energy to get them might no equal out. Taking resources when I didn't appear to need them made it harder too. The last thing was the sound effects overpowered every other sound.
The next pieces were nicely space out and really in good places. I didn't have to guess where to head to next which was refreshing. I think with a redistribution of the resources would make the biggest difference.
Awesome game can't wait to try some of your longer term projects in the future.
Thanks for playing and for your feedback. Due to time, I wasn’t able to normalize volume levels and the level layout was the demo scene from the Synty Polygon Farm pack which, with more time, I would have laid out differently. I agree about the water.
I loved this! SPOILERS - Smoothest flight ever, with a tight level of managing your energy and resources. I love the choices of making the resources visible like that on the map but it was still a challenge. I could see this being expanded in so many directions but its a perfect level in its own right. So feel good and right on theme. momma bird simulator is what I needed in my life.
Thanks, Mels! I appreciate you playing the game and giving your feedback. I had a lot of ideas while creating it but did my best to avoid feature creep.
