I really dug the art style and aesthetic of things overall, and the gameplay loop of gather resources and defend the base was simple and straightforward! You also had toggles for sounds/music which was nice, and adding a volume slider would be huge in my opinion. I did feel a touch helpless at first which could've been just me, so I will say a small amount of tutorial would've been great. But overall the RTS style with researching and making different units through item combos was a nice implementation! Good stuff!

really cool vibe. It took me a while to get going but I'm sure with more time this could he a real hit. Really enjoyed having stuff to progress with. Would love to see this in the future! Thanks so much!

I loved this submission. Really fantastic job. I hope you build it out a bit more :)

Artwork is excellent, style is lovely, and the game is really well put together, very polished and professional looking. I had problems being able to move anything and I couldnt figure out how to research the Iron and Copper when it became available, so was just stuck a little making robots which I could't move easily, this will be a great defense game with a little more work, great fun already will be awesome.

Fun game. Had a good time going through the various different options for building. Never really got the hang of it, but then I suck at playing games. Great job!

very cool game that reminded me of the late 90s strategy tile games. the music is a bop which is a shame as it doesn't loop in game (or I broke it). also very hard game with big resource costs

Developer

Sry for the loop I thought I fixed the bug :X.

And for the hardness either we would make it too easy and kill the pcs with performance issues when there are 1000 robots xD
Or make it harder. But cause of its rougelite nature every trial will be easier. (Progress won't save ^.^') You have to replay directly to stay with the researches.

Looks pretty, sounds lovely, seems like a fun game :)  but I'm pretty bad at these types of games so nothing was intuitive for me personally - I couldn't figure out how to do anything.. I know that I had a robot which got attacked by another robot and that made me sad. So I tried again a few times.. A tutorial would be really good for this. Nice work :)

Developer

You know you could build new robots? :D With the current balancing its most likely just spam mass of robots and try to group them of them near each other that all can attack. Also get reasearch mining stuff and build new robots with mining equip and exchange them with the robots you send on the scrap fields to increase the yield. W A S D to look around.
Build couple of copper and iron factories and then try to surrive and get some more researches ready. Cause of a bug with resetting it's currently a Rougelite :D whats fine cause the next run you have still the researches enabled and can directly build the better robots.

Fantastic little game that had me assembling robots! Simple and intuitive.

I loved the art. Music was relaxing and didn’t feel repetitive. Sound was a little loud. You did have an option to turn sound off but I really would have loved a slider to adjust sound / music up and down.

I’d love to see an expanded version with a research tree / more room game play :D

Great work!

Thanks for the kind words. Expanded version is planned (if it has a bit of success).

game was fun, took a few tries to get past the first few waves, but after making enough basic bots it started getting easier. Maybe a bit more of a tutorial at the beginning for ease of play.

I love the look of this game. I just was confused. I eventually started making robots and it felt better, but ordering the robots to do things felt unresponsive though it was working. There wasn't an instant feedback to it. I think with better action feedback and maybe a tutorial screen I would even buy this game if it were for sale. The idea is solid though.

Thx for the words. When the game will end in the Top 3 then I will make it to a real game :P
