It was so much fun playing it. I really like this old school sprite shooter visuals. It was also pretty challenging. Why did you use this particular aiming system, rather then using conventional fps controls? It feels a little bit hard to get used to.
Nice idea, very good looking game. It reminds me the Doom game.
The aim its a bit off, and holding a key to turn the camera is useless. Imagine playing csgo holding C key to move the cam.
The game lack of performance after some minutes of gameplay and make you fail even its quite easy to kill guys.
But the originality of the game make me forget about the bad parts, and thank you for posting the progess on twitter.
I love the look of this (it reminds me of papercraft), and it had me cracking up laughing at some of the silly physics interactions. Neat and fun game!
Visuals are really fun. reminds me of the old 90s maze runner screen saver. Kind of wish the looking around was a bit better sorted. when you have the look around under automatic, maybe have it so the curser is always locked to center. As you move around your curser will move off screen making it difficult to shoot. After you make it through the level, you kill some dog looking thing. freezes the game at that point.
could be a really fun adventure game!
It appears to have frozen up after I died.
The visuals aren't bad, though it would have benefited from a bit of variety in the color (varying shades of grey, as it were). Everything just kind of blends together.
It's a nice game and I love the mix of 2D and 3D feel. I think it could have benefited from more variety, because even though there are different enemies, there's always a lot of cubes flying around and it can get a bit repetitive. Unfortunately it crashed at the final part (both on browser and on Windows) but still a good entry in my opinion
Thanks for the feedback, Kenney! Yeah, I was planning for the color to slowly come back the more enemies you kill, with it coming back completely once you kill the boss. Didn't get to implement that though due to time, so it just looks like a style choice now. Also didn't get to implement the other spells that I wanted to add. Also, a lot of people say there are problems in the last room, so I'll have to fix that in future iterations :)
