My game is like yours but I'm the bad guy lmao.
Great work, solid space shooter
Nice little space shooter, then enemies are too quick for me :)

Nice little space shooter :)
I like that you tied everything together with a story. Also the markers pointing to the next target was a nice touch.
The players gun felt a little weak and slow and made the final fight a bit difficult.
Nice game love the enemy movement, but enemies are way too fast to chase, player fire rate is also low.
Fun space explore game :D
i enjoyed defending the towers, but the enemies were way too fast to shoot on them D:
overall, well made !
Nice submission. I enjoyed playing it.
Quite a nice variety of enemy ships and firing patterns. Boss ship looked cool at the end too. SFX were nice, and the Station/Big ship indicator item was very useful in helping me navigate. Camera movement is a nice touch too, adds well to the gameplay experience.
For improvements, it is very hard to actually hit the enemies. I'd suggest either upping the players firing rate and laser speed, or reducing the enemy ships' speed.
I also noticed the laser does not quite travel to where the players mouse is pointed, making it very hard to aim. I assume this is due to you adding the ships velocity to the lasers velocity (as you should). You can fix this by doing something called a vector projection instead. If you're interested, here's the c# code I use when I make games like this (use instead of adding playerVelocity to the lasers speed directly).
As mentioned, very fun game. Extra long improvements section is just because I've made similar style games in the past and ran into similar problems.
Well done!
It's a thrill ride. Those ships zip about fast. Everything works smoothly. I found myself getting a little overwhelmed at times and it just became a bit hit and hope. It was a neat experience overall
I enjoyed it, but I found the enemy ship were WAY to fast. You can basically just shoot in one direction and hope they get hit.
Very cool! Camera movement is very nice. I think the game would have been more fun if you could only move forward and had to rotate the ship to steer but that may have just been impossible to play. Good job!
wow those orange ships are pretty hard! very enjoyable game
It's super impressive that you made this in 48 hours, the pew pew sound was perfection, however, some background music would have gone a long way
The pew pew pew sounds immediately remind you of an epic Star Wars battle! The controls are a bit confusing at first, but I got it with the description!
Oh wow. How did I miss that. Great, smooth game
Unsure how to rotate my ship to aim at the attackers
The ship should point towards your mouse cursor?
