Very-very nice!

Developer

Thanks you very much!

Wow! just wow. Very nice graphics and destruction. Sound, lightning and player controls are all on par. Really great entry and game

Developer

Thanks so much, highly appreciated! Best, Matt

Awesome game, great visuals, having great fun playing it!

Neat game! I liked the sense of exploration and the level-up was oddly satisfying. Small note but there is currently a typo on your game page where the keyboard movement is listed as asdf. I was happy to find out it was actually WASD but it too me a minute to figure that out. Also the hitbox for the player's attack could be a bit bigger, it seemed like I would miss a lot.

Developer

Thank you, very helpful! I fixed it!

Great ambiance! The controls were a bit difficult with a laptop, but overall good game. I like the interactions with the normal objects

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much! Yeah, you're absolutely right. I completely forgot about Laptop users. It has controller support, though. So if you got one lying around... :)

wow the breakable objects and the lighting makes the game really shine. perfect presentation. I would love some visual feedback when hitting the orcs. But overall, this is one of the best games in this jam.  :D

Really fun game! Nice to break things, and I would break everything before living the level!

There are a lot of levels, are they procedurally generated?

Developer(+1)

It's kinda addictive, isn't it? :) Yes, it's all procedural, albeit very simplistic at the moment:

var levelSize = 5 + currentLevel;
LevelGenerator.Instance.Initialize(levelSize, levelSize);

The rest of the code for 'Initialize' is here:

I hope to massively improve this in the future. Others mentioned that it's repetitiv and I totally agree. Wish I had more time.

Submitted

Very interesting, because it doesn't feel like procedural :) Maybe because you update the seed every time? Yes, it is addictive and fun game :)

Destroying stuff is just too fun :D

Great hack n slash game with a good game play loop. Would have been nice to be able to hold the mouse down to attack to spare my poor mouse arm 💪

Developer

Great suggestion, picking this up.

Very impressive and really nice concept.

Addictively fun smashing everything up in each level.  A bit more variety to the map shapes would be great but I really enjoyed playing through to the end :)

Very fun game. The aesthetics and animation work beautifully. Really felt it needed more impactful SFX and music to really give it some depth. But i had loads of fun walking around and breaking everything!

Submitted(+1)

I really love that someone use the mini dungeon 3d pack like this, because its super cool! The game is a bit ripetitive, but the visuals and the animation on the characters are really impressive.

Developer

Thanks for playing the game and the kind feedback. Repetitivness is definitely something I'd like to improve in the future. Best, Matt

The game fits the theme. The gameplay is interesting. Graphics are nice sounds and music too. Great job!)

I honestly enjoyed this game alot!

this game is hella fun! It is the perfect execution of the Idea I imagined too! so kudos on the creativity and planning too, honestly we should've teamed up and made the perfect game!
visually the game is quite pleasing, flt look and colors suit it, plus I really like the lighting, smart of you to use Rayfire, I wasted too much time making barrel destruction by hand so well done again on the whole premise and execution, overall this is truly a polished game especially for such a short timeframe, my only minor complaint would be repetitiveness, while the gameplay loop is quite nice the stages are quite basic, during my multiple runs I found the stages to be the same but maybe there is random generation I didn't notice, and I felt as if the maps are quite narrow for the concept of exploration but they get bigger once you progress and are quite mysterious in their own way,
overall a very solid entry, with probably the best gameplay and polish I have seen in this jam, excellent work, this is truly the perfect game!

I love the fact that you can destroy every object in a room! Played it this morning too and i see some things changed, love the visuals too but musics does get a bit too repetitive (itch made me comment same things 5 times, idk if you can still see it, i hope i deleted everything)

Developer(+1)

I'm with you. Currently, the procedural level generation is very bare bones based on mostly Random.Range (e.g. uniform) probabilities. I hope to improve this after the jam to also create non-rectangle levels. Thanks for playing my game. Best, Matt

Awesome game! Love the lighting and gameplay, really managed to get the rouge-lite feel right! The only "problem" for me is that I couldn't really understand when the enemies were gettting damaged and when not. Other than that the game was great! Keep up the good work!

Developer

The attack vector is based on your current movement direction. I wanted it to have in the direction of the mouse, but eventually ran out of time to fix it. Thanks for playing my game! Best, Matt

This was great! Really good use of lighting to make an asset pack that hundreds will have used feel unique. Gameplay was fun, although a little easy eventually. I loved that everything was destructible :) Felt really polished, good job!

Very Fun. I got to level 10 before dying.

Developer

Well done, that's farther than I got :D
