I had a similar idea when the theme was first announced, I'm glad I didn't take it. This was fun!

A nice Mario like game that is challenging yet interesting to play.  The teleporting mechanism to reach a new level is something different.

Nice! I liked the teleport mechanic! I did feel like the player controls were a little slide-y, the spikes were a bit sensitive. It would have been nice to aim the scythe a little better without jumping also. Overall though, I had fun playing!

Interesting game.

It took me a few tries with jumping to get that you're not supposed to jump but only teleport.

I think that the scythe could just teleport on impact because once it stops there's no point in waiting.

Very challenging and enjoyable game. But jumping and doing platforming stuffs its not useful I think ?
Player need to use teleportation ability for pass all levels. It might be good if you give more freedom like beating a level without using teleport :/ but its still very enjoyable Nice work ^^

I didn't reach the end (too hard for me after lvl 4 haha) but It was fun to play ! At the begining I didn't understand how to jump that far until my mouse miss clic, but cool mecanics tho. Perhaps adding a little story for these two character who have to be reunited ? Also I see in the credits you did it all by your own, so good work

This game is fun! Controls should be in the game, I was confused as to why the platforming in this game was so hard until I read the game page. Maybe you can reduce the collision of the spikes to be smaller, sometimes the player collides with the spike even if it is still far away.

Good job!It gave me mario flashbacks

Really a great submission! An interesting yet spot on correlation with the jam theme, art style was light and fun (especially enjoyed the old school arcade style border around the play area!). It's definitely tough though and the early levels can be a bit unforgiving (I'll agree with another reviewer in saying the hitboxes on some of the traps are bit large) but the puzzles themselves are overall solvable and fair. This challenge leaves you with a good sense of accomplishment when completing levels though and you soon see yourself becoming ever more proficient in scythe throwing and leveraging the teleportation mechanic. Really great job!

Way too hard for me, sorry :(

Great concept and execution. I would recommend putting the controls in the menus as I hadn't read the games page I almost gave up before accidently working out how left click and right click worked.

Once I got the mechanic down I was really impressed and engaged! Very clever, lots of fun, and a fun little game. Great job

Very fun game. The platforming feels a little slippy, but the throwing and teleport mechanics are fun to play with. Good variety of levels and challenges. Nice work!
PS. the hitboxes on the spikes are maybe too big and unforgiving lol

Cool loking game, totally nail the feeling of an old PC game, I liked the challange, I feel like you naturally learn to throw the sythe while in the air without tutorials, and that's cool.
