I'd say the concept is great, but the execution didn't show all the potential it has. I like graphics, music, controls feel snap, the only thing to upgrade here would be the level design, really. It's a great jam entry, just didn't fulfill all the potential the idea has. I enjoyed the levels, and they feel really great as intro levels to get into the flow of the things :D

Its a bit underwhelming when it comes to length.
The idea and style is cool. While I like the fact its not frustrating, this game goes too hard in the opposite direction and becomes near mindless in its simplicity. You don't need to use your brain much and for a puzzle game that's bad. Hoping Soul Chain 1.1 will be better.
I feel like it would have been more challenging to force the two characters to exit the level at the same (essentially only allow the game to progress only if they are overlapping their exit collision at the same time). I think allowing them to trigger their exits separately removes a lot of the challenge that comes with these kinds of games. Other than that I really like the minimalist approach. A big issue for me when it comes to modern games is they prioritize having the best graphics not just over gameplay but in some cases even at the expense of the gameplay, which is wrong cause its a GAME so GAMEPLAY has to be the priority. Really appreciate that you do the exact opposite, good work!
Cool game !
Very short and a bit too easy. (There's a lot you can do with this gameplay mechanism to create interesting puzzles.) but the levels you have are pretty well though and enjoyable to play. (would have enjoyed to play a few more)
The art is simple but coherent and readable.
little feedback : the audio is a bit unbalanced. ( the moving sound is a lot higher than the rest).
All in all, it's a good jam entry. Good work :)
Artwork is simple and effective as other players have said. Connection to the theme is probably the strongest so far that I've seen as well. There's a lot of potential to the concept of this game, but personally I felt like the game could have been more difficult. Overall, a very decent submission! I did have fun.
A nice little puzzle game. Very relaxing. I want to play more if you create more levels in future
Love that gameboy vibes! I wanted to enjoy the game a bit longer x)
Great job!
A game in a fairly well-known genre, where you give one command to several characters at the same time. Fits perfectly with the theme of jam.
Performed well and technically no complaints. It is played quickly and easily, if it had more levels, it could be a good option to spend your free time.
Its only drawback, as for me, is the lack of some kind of danger for the characters. I'm not sure that in the game you can generally make a mistake and fail the level. On the other hand, we have a lot of games that are ready to punish you for a wrong step, so just relax and guide the heroes to the finish line through simple puzzles - maybe this is what we need?
Really well done! I love the mechanic of playing two characters at the same time, and how the level changes with each B icon grabbed. The levels ramped up nicely meaning you didn't have to do a lot to teach the player how to play. Very well done!
Instant Gameboy memories! The music was very fitting. Simple, yet clear art style. I liked playing through it and I made it all the way to the end. Thanks for submitting Soul Chain, a relaxing small puzzle game!
Really liked the art direction and puzzle design. Super concise concept, executed and designed very clearly. Nice work!
I very like the idea and the gameplay. And the color pattern fits so well.Nice job!
